Cool spot to get some good Mexican food and sip on a margarita or cold beer. We stopped in for the first time and sat at the bar. Friendly service, seems like the locals were hanging out there as well. Had to start with the queso fundido which has rave reviews on Google - both chips and queso dip were great. Then on to delicious Crispy Potato Taquitos piled with refried beans, lettuce, pico, queso fresco and topped with crema. We also tried the Carne Asada Burrito with black...
When we walked in at lunch time the entire restaurant reeked of bleach. Main door and door to the patio open and a cold wind was blowing in on a poor air quality day. Menu prices also higher than what is shown on their website but they would not honor the price difference. If you want chips and salsa at the table they charged an extra $5 which is not typical for Mexican restaurant.
The absolute best authentic Mexican food I’d ever had in the USA. The meat tastes just like when I’ve ordered street tacos in Mexico but it’s done in a modern way which is even more appealing and delicious. Can’t wait for their cave creek location to open bc it’s even closer to me.
