Sushi spot in a nice spot with a limited menu and some drink offerings. Visited during happy hour and there was only one other table. Chef was less than enthusiastic and seemed to be very interested in his iPad. Expected more of Sasaki based on reviews.
A group of us were in old town Scottsdale, and was walking around the new civic center to build up an appetite. 4 adults and 4 children that spanned the ages of 4-16, so we could have went to Grimaldi’s but passed by this place and some of the kids were tired of pizza and wanted Ramen. I know, kids tired of pizza… seems odd but true. They have a nice and clean A/C dining room but we opted for the outdoor patio seating area. As there was a nearby Jazz festival. It set the mood...
