It was cool when it was open but it's closed right now.

I think it's reopening as something else

This place just closed down, they need to reflect their hours.

Saturday night was an absolute vibe at Second Story Restaurant and Liquor Bar in Scottsdale, AZ, as my girlfriend, another couple, and I hit up its final service before its owner and staff take their talents a couple blocks north and move into the longtime location for the Old Town staple, Kazimierz Wine & Whiskey Bar. The evening started strong with some solid appetizers. First were mussels - which were were on point. And the Noble bread is always a chef's kiss! We then enjoyed a lineup of pastas that seriously impressed, each dish popping with flavor and showing off the chef's skills. But the real MVP of the night was the massive 40 oz tomahawk ribeye. Shared amongst us, it was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right—total showstopper. The cocktails? Nothing short of legendary. Each one was a mixologist's masterpiece, perfectly paired with our feast and seriously leveling up the whole dining experience. Service was top-notch too. The staff made sure the farewell evening was nothing short of epic, nailing it with their attention and hospitality. So, here's to Second Story and the adventures awaiting everyone a couple blocks north at “The End”. Based on last night, we're all in for a treat. Cheers to fresh starts, good vibes and what's sure to be a culinary success.

Ordered a happy hour app. $12 for 4 very small, less than bite size pieces of tuna. All apps were miniature. Half priced HH wine was good.

Where can you go that is cozy… on the second floor and the employees are empowered to make decisions like an owner? = Second Story!

We were greeted by the hostess, the owner came by and left us with Abbey, who was phenomenal!

I’d recommend coming here to celebrate any occasion! They will make your experience memorable!

W Day!

The food was outstanding. The drinks were also very good. The atmosphere was very moody, and sexy. We sat outside but I would have been content with either inside or outside.

Roasted spring carrots, jerk chicken, Korean pork belly, meatballs, tiramisu! All excellent and recommended. Great service from Rachael. Thank you chef Jordano. This location has a bar and food to satisfy the body and soul. The carrots came out especially good, as well as the chicken. The meatballs were not my favorite but not bad. The charred pineapple with rum jus added a unique twist to the fried rice. Certainly noteworthy.

Abby was our waitress and she was amazing! Excellent service and the food was outstanding! We ordered the cold open cocktails, mine as a mock-tail, and they were very refreshing. I ordered the cacio pepe pasta and the sailor style mussels with noble bread and I have never been more happy with a meal! My fiancé ordered the prime filet of bison w/ truffled demi and it had amazing flavor and was cooked perfectly. We also shared the caesar salad which was the perfect size and had the right amount of dressing. Abby suggested the vanilla bean custard with salted caramel which was too good for words. We both agreed that this was definitely the best meal we've had out at a restaurant. Don't hesitate to go here!

We were disappointed that they were out of all the menu items that we wanted to try. We ended up going with the fish collar. It was ok. The noodles and dipping sauce were way too salty. The service and ambiance was fantastic. I would be willing to try it again.

Our server, Abby was attentive without being overbearing She knew the menu. We ordered the biscuits which were as advertised. Delicious, fantastic! The prosecco could have been a little colder, but the drinks were very good, albeit pricey. The cacio a pepe, however, was very disappointing. The pasta was overcooked and we felt that instead of romano they used parmesian. Branzino was cooked perfectly with wonderful Noble garkic bread. Great atmosphere.

Went with great expectations. Wasn't greeted by anyone even though 2 bartenders were quite present. Hostess makes her way over and we're seated. Probably the worst table in the whole place. I've had cleaner menus at Dennys at 2am. Ordered drinks... decided on the tuna app. Things are going eh, fine. The apl arrives it is lackluster to say the least. We didn't eat it, it was obviously not enjoyed. At that point I didn't want anything else and we got our bill and left. Was charged for the app without the server asking anything about it. I will not recommend this restaurant.

What a fun place! We had seen this restaurant reviewed on Arizona check please and thought it looked great. It did not disappoint! The food was excellent; creative and delicious. And the bar cocktails excellent!

We have been to Second Story 3 times before. This time we brought new friends because we loved it so much before. It was still nice; the restaurant is so cozy and comfortable. The staff is great. The food was good but not as great as before, just not as yummy and portions way smaller.....: ( We still will come back and try another day and just dinner service. Maybe it was because it was happy hour?

Fantastic experience. Ambience was excellent, food was unique, fresh, and enticing. Everyone there was conscientious of making a great evening. Would definitely return and am referring friends to go as well.
