Solid sandwich! Ordered it to go and it was fast and delicious! Better than a Jimmy Johns!!!

I'm so disappointed. I am from Las Vegas and Capriotti's is a staple when it comes to subs. I always get the wagyu steak and cheese, no veggies. It's very clear that NV & AZ use different suppliers for their ingredients. The meat in AZ is not the same quality as Las Vegas and my sandwich tasted nothing like the Caps I know so well. It was sliced too thick, slightly fatty and still pink. That's wagyu? There was way too much unmelted cheese and the bread slightly soggy so I threw the other half of it away. The service was lacking as well. I stood at the counter for about 5 minutes before anyone even noticed that I walked in. The employee sitting outside came in, apologized & took my order. It was ready in less than 5 minutes, which explains why the meat was still pink and the cheese was not melted. I will not be back to this location but I do urge management to raise standards to meet those of NV.

We had ordered Capriotti's for lunch. We ordered online. We ordered at 11: 57 AM. we recorded that the order would be at our place by 12:27 for lunch. At 12:35 I called him to ask if the order was on its way. They said no. Do you order got to our place at 1 o'clock. They forgot the cookie that I paid for. As well as, the Italian dressing we wanted on the side. We did not get any napkins silverware. Nothing. Just two sandwiches in a bag left at our door. They did not ring your doorbell. We did not request no contact. I only knew the sandwich was out there. Because I could hear the bags ruffling around. And my dog knew there was someone. when I checked the cameras, they just dropped the sandwiches off. I would not order this for lunch if you were in a hurry. An hour is way too long. I could go sit down and have lunch in that timeframe. As far as ambience. It is fine. It is a sandwich shop. Not the cleanest not the dirt

Had a homemade turkey sandwich for lunch and was very impressed! Turkey was awesome!! Only took away one star because there was almost too much toppings and hard to eat but hey rather too much than too little! Definitely recommend for a lunch stop

I was hungry after getting refunded for my Capriotti sandwich and figured I'd settle for pizza. I should've just waited, because the pizza was not very good. Small slices, and in my opinion not worth $4 per slice. Woulda just held off and got something else.

So we got to the deli and they had a sign on their door that they had been voted the best sandwich in America. Well, we decided to test that. We split the American Wagyu roast beef sandwich as well as the classic Italian sandwich with Genoa salami, capicola, and prosciutto. The sandwiches were good, but could have been better. Each sandwich came with one slice of tomato on top, it could have used more. Also, some extra oil and vinegar to moisten the bread would have been a big help. And also the bread was thick to the point where it kind of overwhelmed the ingredients inside, I actually scooped out a little bit of the inside of the bread to balance it all out. I would say it was good, but not out of this world, didn't quite meet my hopes. Good variety of chips and drinks are available and there is outside seating available.

Totally disappointed! The place is under staffed. Service is practically non-existent and when present, is borderline rude. It was 46° outside and 40° inside! Crumbs on the table and trash on the floor. Do yourself a favor and head across the street.

Located right in Old Town Scottsdale, Capriotti's has always been a business to try. It is located on the east side of Scottsdale road and First Street. You can park in their small shared lot. Staff are very nice and friendly. I really wanted the grilled chicken Parmesan cheese steak. Unfortunately they were out of marinara sauce which really makes the sandwich. Darn! I went with the chicken cheese steak instead with mushrooms, provolone and grilled chicken. When you check in on Yelp, you get a free beverage. Cool, I got a Bubly beverage. Cheesy goodness with chicken was good. The French bread roll was soft, warm and yummy. I don't eat much bread but ate every piece of this. You can purchase a half, small, medium or large size sub. There is a pix showing the size so that is helpful. Small is a 6".

I recently visited a local pizza parlor for dinner. I was very impressed with the quality of the food. The pizza was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would definitely recommend this pizza parlor to anyone looking for a good meal at an affordable price.

We spotted this shop driving down Scottsdale and husband was hangry so decided to give it try. Staff played a game of words as we were placing order, if a word is spoken another is yelled out that goes with it. Which gave it a feeling of a lively place than it was at that moment. Husband ordered a sandwich and I did the chicken noodle soup. Our name was called out to pick up. We were given the wrong soup, however they quickly made it right and told us to keep the other one. My soup was homemade right out of the pot. Reminded me of my own recipe accept mine is heavier on the meat and veggies than broth. Husband said the sandwich was good and did the trick to control the hangry.

Very, very, very good! This sandwich shop in a nondescript little shopping center in Scottsdale is deceiving. Looks and feels like an old-fashioned deli - and their sandwiches prove it. From their fabulous mouthwatering Capastrami to a tasty real Tuna sandwich, Capriotti's is the perfect place for a bite. Sit in or take out, highly recommended.
