So we got to the deli and they had a sign on their door that they had been voted the best sandwich in America. Well, we decided to test that. We split the American Wagyu roast beef sandwich as well as the classic Italian sandwich with Genoa salami, capicola, and prosciutto. The sandwiches were good, but could have been better. Located right in Old Town Scottsdale, Capriotti's has always been a business to try. It is located on the east side of Scottsdale road and First Street. You can park in their small shared lot. Staff are very nice and friendly. I really wanted the grilled chicken Parmesan cheese steak. Unfortunately they were out of marinara sauce which really makes the sandwich. Darn! Had a homemade turkey sandwich for lunch and was very impressed! Turkey was awesome!! Only took away one star because there was almost too much toppings and hard to eat but hey rather too much than too little! Definitely recommend for a lunch stop
