Had been going here almost every week for about a year and a half now. Now with COVID-19, I'm mostly working from home. That being said, they seem to be taking special orders. I was lucky enough to find out that Tony taking orders for carrot cakes he was making for Easter. After talking with Kathy, I ordered a carrot cake; which looked fantastic and tasted even better. I also ordered a couple of quiches. Mushroom was my favorite, but potato and leek is a great combo as well. These quiches are large, you'll get a good 6-8 servings from each one. Though if you're like me you'll occasionally eat a second serving because it's so good (especially that crust...). I asked, and they were able to make me some of my new, since my first review, favorites. Since my first review, I've branched out to try their muffins and "jackets". Muffins are super moist, and I've found that both them and the scones can last a couple days at home, so I typically grab a few extra. The corn and the apple cinnamon are a couple of my favorites. If you like something more savory - you should try to get a jacket if get the chance. They seem to go quick for good delicious reasons. The Margarita is my current favorite. All told, the last time we ordered we got a cake, a couple quiches, some muffins, and some jackets... all very delicious. The cake, quiches, and jackets kept well in the fridge. (Though my wife and I enjoyed ourselves and ate through them pretty quickly) The muffins kept well for several days on the counter in a close Tupperware - by day 5 I had eaten the last one. :) Basically, I highly recommend reaching out and doing a special order if you can. Lots of love and kudos to Tony and Kathy, great people & great food.

You will Not go wrong with The Brilliant Bagel!! The menu items are All so delicious that even if you are not vegan, you will not miss the meats. For example (just one example), try The Churchill... mmm! I'm telling you!! All your senses get awaken!! Sooo full of flavor! and the texture of the Bagel... man!! Out of this world!! Tony and Kathy are just an amazing couple!! So personable, friendly and kind that you really don't feel like just customer; you feel that warmth no matter how busy they are. I always see a lot of regulars who are also treated like family! Try that anywhere else!!

My daughter and I absolutely love this place. Tony and Katherine are the best. The bagels are like no others. Our favorite is The Churchill. The scones are super original and tasty. We enjoy the superior quality coffee too! Tony has a unusual knack for baking and food preparation and we have ordered unique quiches and cheesecakes as specialities for our entertaining needs. For my birthday last year with my family, Tony and Katherine prepared a whole brunch including pastries, salad, quiche and sangria. Everyone raved about how delicious everything was. At Christmas, we shared a wonderful homemade cake with our neighbors. For Easter,we have a ordered carrot cake and quiche. The food is wonderful, and we consider Tony and Katherine good friends. The Brilliant Bagel is definitely a one-of-a-kind fantastic find in Scottsdale!

This place is amazing. Best bagels in town, fresh baked goods, and yummy coffee creations are second to the wonderful people who own and operate the joint. This is my regular spot when I'm in town. I'm a simple bagel and cream cheese kinda girl, although the menu creations sound phenomenal. Olive and onion bagel for the win for me! Can this place reopen yet? I got a text from the owner about doing preordered quiches and carrot cake for Easter and my bagel cravings came in HARD! When all this is over, BRING ON THE BAGELS! A must try and regular spot to add to your brekky list but get there early because they sell out fast.

Really craving a bagel from the brilliant bagel right now and since I can't have one during these crazy times, a review will have to do for now. The bagels here are unlike any I've ever tried before. WAY BETTER than any bagel place in the valley. Amazing texture, delicious toppings and the owners are lovely. Can't wait for restaurants to be reopened!

I absolutely love The Brilliant Bagel. This is the kind of establishment I look for in the area - great food, locally owned and reasonably priced. I ordered the Churchill and loved the heirloom tomatoes with the garlic herb cream cheese - not bad for $5.95. I love their coffee as well. The place gives off a London pub vibe. Beware, the bagels are so good that they occasionally run out so come early if you can. Thank you, yelp, for guiding me to this bagel place!

I have to admit that I'm a big-time bagel lover. The bagel is literally my most favorite single baked goods on planet Earth. there is not a single bagel that I do not like and there are so many variations and I love them all. That's being said I am very particular about bagel places so when I tell you that this is a really good bagel spot I can assure you and almost guarantee you that you will be very happy when you come here. The bagels are tasty and fresh and the cream cheese if they have here is also extremely fresh and amazingly good. Everyone here has a good attitude and the service is excellent. Five stars.
