The Capital Grille

This is one of the best places to dine in Scottsdale. It quiet so you can carry on a conversation with your guests. The food is excellent and the wine list is great. The service is always outstanding. We always pick it for special occasions. I would eat there everyday if I could.

Disappointing. I feel like this chain is relying on their reputation. The Sea bass was overcooked and flavorless. Update your menu!

Another excellent meal at Capital Grille. We are loving the new spinach and pear salad. Next time will order dressing on the side. Hubby had the filet, perfectly cooked, while I enjoyed the lamb. Ordered a dessert which we don't often do- couldn't finish it. Second time my plain martini was served with olive juice. The staff quickly re-made it, yet wondering if they need a more accurate system?

We have been coming to CG for our 'special occasion' dinners for the last 8 years and have always enjoyed our evenings. However, this last Friday we had dinner and it wasn't up to the usual/past standard of excellence. I think the overall standard for performance has deteriorated since the General Manager, Brian S, was transferred. When we dined previously, he would regularly visit our table to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. He did that with others as well. During our last 3 visits we have yet to see the current GM. Food quality remains very good, but my calamari order arrive with only 1 lemon wedge... a small thing, but different. Our service was good, but not outstanding as in the past. Other indications....I think things need to improve.

Everything was up to the regular standards of excellent, except the shrimp dish, lacked flavor!

I never thought of this restaurant as a lunch option. Lunch at capital grille is great. Very quiet and cool when it's miserable outside. I highly recommend the steak salad, it is excellent with a fine red wine.

My sister and I started our meal with the French onion soup, they were delicious. For the main meal my sister had the filet minion, it was cooked perfectly. I had the rib eye sandwich, that was also delicious and the meat was good and tender, but they should put it on a bigger bread. Because it becomes quite a mess to eat.

Beautiful and a special remembrance for our anniversary - a table with rose pedals and a special card . This reminds me of an olde world restaurant with beautiful wooden furnishings,white linens and quality ambiance. Steaks are above perfection cooked perfectly, wine list first quality and superb service .

The perfect place to celebrate every special occasion! We celebrated a big birthday last night in style thanks to the staff. Excellent hospitality, service and amazing food. Steaks cooked to perfection paired with wonderful wine. We love celebrating at Capital Grill Scottsdale. Thank you everyone.

It had been several years since we dined at Capital Grille as we wanted to try various other steakhouses. Capital Grille undoubtedly beats Maple and Ash, Donovan's, Ruth's Chris, et al for food, service, ambience, and value. Wonderful place!!

Our waitress Laurie was OUTSTANDING!! It was my birthday and she not only provided great service but she had a Wonderful personality. We will ask for her on our next visit

The food was amazing. So was the service. It is not a place to go if you are on a budget but the price was worth every penny.

Everything was perfect, except for the fact that the smoke from the outdoor smoking area was blowing in the direction of outdoor seating. It would be advantageous to put two big fans in the smoking area to prevent the smoke from coming into your lovely outdoor patio.
