First time trying The Mick Brasserie, selected it because of good reviews and location was right where we needed on that night. We had a group of 5 and everyone loved their menu choices. The sesame focaccia bread was amazing, never had a bread like this. I want to go back just to eat this bread all night! We also had the beet salad, shrimp tartine, cavatelli, blackened swordfish -- all were delicious. For dessert we had lemon creme brulee, peanut butter and jelly chocolate mousse...
I am surprised it took me so long to find this gem! I am someone that loves to try new places and being restaurant week, it's always a great way to get an entire meal for a great price. I happened to search gluten free on the AZ Restaurant week site and The Mick was one of the places that came up who offered so many options along with other non gluten free items. I had a light dinner with friends on our way to a play. All the plates looked fabulous, the service very attentive, the atmosphere enjoyable.
My dinner was the beet salad, a glass of red house wine, and the peanut butter, jelly, and chocolate mousse, which were all delicious!
