I've been coming here for around 3 years now. I love that they are now brushless hand only cleaning , I opt for the out and inside for $45 $10 tip= $55 for a great clean car and save your receipt in case it rains , you get a 48 hour re clean if it does! Bring the kids, while the car is getting washed they can have a snack and sit and watch the fish or shop in their adorable one of a kind shop.

Got three sandwiches. Two pulled pork and one pulled chicken. All were dry and cold. One of the sides we got was tater tots. They were so over cooked they almost disintegrated. The coleslaw was ok. I wouldn’t recommend.

Needed a snack after being at an event at Westworld. Was told to go to The Thumb as it was well known for its amazing food and atmosphere all at a gas station.I was curious and decided to check it out.It was late afternoon. Around 3:30 PM.I mention this because I think it played into some items not being available on the menu.I really wanted to try the brisket but it was sold out amongst other things.I went with a Cuban sandwich wanting something different and hopefully authentic.I did ask if it was pressed when I ordered it and the gentleman taking the order confirmed it was.So I ordered the Cuban sandwich and my friend ordered the Pulled Chicken Sandwich. The food arrived in a decent amount of time. Nothing too unusual. You’ll see from the photos that I was quite disappointed in my order. Having lived in the Miami FL area for years I know what a good Cuban sandwich tastes like and this left a lot to be desired. The Pulled Chicken was a better choice in my opinion. The atmosphere is unique. Different for a gas station. Interesting market with trinkets and uniques gifts.Would I go back? Maybe for the brisket. Maybe. ?Would I recommend this place?Try it and go for the brisket. I believe that’s what it’s known for.Beyond that if your driving by try it outI don’t know that I’d go out of my way to test it.

Update: so I think it was either the manager or owner that came up to me since I wrote this while sitting waiting. He explained why they got rid of the tunnel wash and I understand obviously why it’s more expensive because you’re having to pay more employees to hand wash but I still think that a tunnel wash should be an option. He explained that they’ve had to total some cars because of some equipment issues and when muddy cars come through it can cause scratching to the next cars in line but so do every other tunnel washes. It’s the risk you take for a cheaper wash. I’ve always come here because they’d do a nice wipe down even after the tunnel wash. I don’t know, I’m still bummed the tunnel wash is gone. You guys messed up by changing up your car wash services. First time I heard of you getting rid of your tunnel wash I came to get today now it’s exclusively hand wash and because I have a small Colorado pickup it’s a minimum $45 to get washed now… that’s absurd. I’ve been coming here for at least 8 years. I’ll be on the lookout for a decent car wash again. It’s fine for all you Ferrari owners but someone who lives near and wanted a good wash this used to be the place to go. Not anymore. I’m sure they’ll still do a good job but I’m not paying near $50 for a car wash. Also the food is overpriced for what it is. The BBQ is not worth what they charge.

The guy at the car wash who lost his voice was very rude. We won't be back.

My old college friend and his wife brought us to 'The Thumb' to give us a one-of-a-kind experience. Wow! What a unique experience it was! How do I categorize this place? Part modern art gallery, part restaurant, part coffee shop, part gift shop; and a nice gas station as well?!This place has great BBQ dishes, a great coffee selection, and lots of cool things/art for visual pleasure!. To top it all off, the service was friendly, welcoming and fast. When we were enjoying our BBQ treats and cappuccinos, the store manager/owner, Joe came by our table and greeted us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Another friendly and welcoming personality was Christina. No wonder Guy Fieri of the Food Network had this place on his show. This is a must-experience establishment and I highly recommend it! Prices too are reasonable. Thanks to our friends, Mark and Melissa for bringing us to this unique place! I will be revisiting this place next time I'm in Scottsdale, AZ.

A fun BBQ experience at a gas station. Coffee shop with pastries and a store. Get the Tom's Brisket Stack.

This place has a fun atmosphere. While you wait for your food, you can look around the shop, check out the fish tank, and get gas for your car.

My husband had BBQ, which he said was really good, but I got the burger. They were out of a lot of food items. It was flavorless and greasy. And way overpriced! Not worth the hype, in my opinion.

Over the year's we've loved the Thumb. A couple years ago they removed the BLT with Egg which was my favorite but the car wash was still good. I just went up to the car wash and the full service car wash for $25 is no longer available. Now it's $40. I have 5 cars and unfortunately I will no longer give them my business. I think it's egregious what they are charging. I did try the hand car wash once and my rims weren't cleaned any better than the previous option. I'm out...
