Toca Madera Scottsdale

Although it was stated there was only a two hour reservation, we were denied a second bottle of wine as our time was running out. I did not think we were really on a timer after the amount of drinks and food we enjoyed. We were not even in the area where the performances were. It was no fault of our server, she was only doing what was expected of her. This is the reason for the 4 and not 5 star rating

The restaurant is beautiful, but I was highly disappointed in the food quality for the price of the food. I was expecting the best porterhouse I've ever eaten, but instead of a charred steak that was over cooked and tasted like charcoal had just been lit when our steak was cooked. The wedge salad was great, however, the desserts were lacking any flavor for $22/ea. it costs us $600 for this meal split by 4 people and not one of us walked away impressed. This restaurant seems that it's popular because it's the place to be seen at. Lastly, the waitress was not impressive at all and was super rude at the very end.

Loved this place. Branzino and scallops were amazing. Steak (flank) was fine. Drinks were amazing - had a mezcal margarita and the signature charcoal drink. Both were great. Our waitress was amazing and coursed out the food. We were celebrating my husbands bday and had an amazing brownie desert. It is LOUD..-like just a bit too much. Lower the music a tiny bit please! We were seated on the bar area which isn't great as one person is staring at the wall, but we showed up at a time different than our reservation and they accommodated. Will visit again if in the area but will specifically request a table in the dining area only.

Amazing experience! Our steak was perfectly prepared and the service was outstanding. Savannah and Salina were the best!

We sat at the Chef's table and we enjoyed it so much. Amazing environment. Green flowers with sky lights. Makes you feel free from stress. The staff also cater to you as well.

Very good food and service. We were a bit early to our reservation ( traveling to airport) and they seated us in bar instead of main restaurant which was a bit disappointing.

Have visited Toca in Vegas which I found to sit be much better in all areas. Service was slow, music was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak. I don't mind loud music but we should also be able to converse. I felt I had to shout at the waitress to be heard to the point I didn't want to order.

For a fine dining experience, this was the worst. They charge for everything, even when the waitress said it was “included”, $10 for rice and $10 for beans is crazy. The waitress brought in a birthday dessert that no one asked for and then charged us $20 for it. I ordered the hot rock chicken. The chicken was dry and so spicy that I couldn’t even eat it. $200 later, and we had to stop at in n out on the way home.

Dont come here if you want good food or have conversations with your party. Do come here if you want drinks. Ordered Truffle mac and cheese and enchilada, Mac and cheese had no truffle, enchilada chicken was chewy and tortillas felt rubbery. We had a reservation and got seated 30 minutes after, got asked for our meal another 30 minutes after being sat. 10/10 dont recommend,
its not worth the money unless you want to come to drink and look good.

It's hard to describe when you have terrible and great service. Lol. Started off horrible, 15min wait for acknowledgment at the table, then Bradley swoops in to salvage our first impression. My salmon was great. The waitress that we were supposed to have continued to show her uncaring attitude throughout the evening ?. "Just don't come back to the table, please." PSA...wait until the customer asks for the bill, please. Waaayyy to overpriced for this treatment. Thank you, Bradley, for doing your best to cover the mistreatment.

The atmosphere was phenomenal service and food was excellent. The entertainment was very interesting. Fine dining to the highest level.

A little dark and a little loud. The drinks were great and the architecture/look of this place was incredible

Came here to celebrate my sisters birthday, we had a big lunch prior so we ordered just a few things in terms of food, we had the tostaditas, toca shrimp Caesar and the chips and dip which were all good. We also ordered drinks, the como la flor, ghost rider, watermelon margarita, guava margarita and the passion fruit margarita. The service was great, we loved the DJ and Fire dancer. The drinks were so good! My only recommendation is for the restaurant to make sure those standing near the bar don’t block the view of those seated. Otherwise, we had a nice dinner here.
