We were visiting Scottsdale, Arizona and found this Albanian restaurant. This place is a must-try and it is a hidden gem in Scottsdale. As an Albanian l can guarantee that this is very authentic food, everything is cooked homemade and freshly prepared . Most importantly this is a family-owned and operated restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the owners were incredibly welcoming.

Came in expecting a solid meal and left thinking about the biscuits. They were that good. Fluffy, buttery, and clearly made with care, not an afterthought like at most places. The food overall was great, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Those biscuits steal the show and I would come back just for them.

Best find in recent memory! Thanks to Google Maps for “suggesting” this delightful place (while we’re in the area for a week and just going whichever way the wind blows us). We asked for their favorites and then thoroughly enjoyed the grilled sausages in pitalka bread, traditional burek with yogurt (feta and cottage cheese), and sarmas - plus Mediterranean fries and cookies for the kids (with whom they were quite kind and patient, by the way). We may be back this week if...
