I had the carne asada tacos and a beer they were great.

Visited Arizona back in July '23. Stopped here hoping to find some good tequila & tacos & boy did we find it! Owner was there celebrating his wife's birthday, awfully nice people! Staff is absolutely sweet & did a fantastic job! Loved that they had karaoke going on! I'll be stopping by again next time I'm there!

On our first night in Scottsdale, we drove 1 mile from our resort and found ourselves in The Wandering Donkey Taqueria and Tequila bar. Let me tell you about this 5 star restaurant. This place was Ah-mazing. We were there super early so it was pretty quiet. We sat at the bar which is absolutely, stunningly beautiful and was the creation of a local artist. They have killer drinks with my favorite being a toss up between the Ay- Chihuahua (a spicy margarita with just the right amount of heat) and the Chocolate Espresso martini (a great dessert drink). The food was delicious. We shared the Tostada stack with Carnitas and each got an ear of Elote Corn. That corn was.out of this world! I just know I will crave this corn when I go back to Ohio. The atmosphere was great and the staff were all super friendly, knowledgeable and fun to chat with. We really appreciated Beth coming to chat with us and giving us a little history of this awesome restaurant. If we lived closer, this would definitely be a once a week place for us. If you live in or around Scottsdale and haven't given this place a try yet, do it!

Tito’s $5 and Patron specials everyday all day.5-star Cadillac Eldorado Margarita is spot on.Carne Asada made with Certified Black Angus Tri-Tip Steak… can’t be beat. Salsa is fantastic!When it comes to Atmosphere, super cool!

Can't believe it took a few years of its opening for us to discover this neighborhood gem! Fantastic experience from the attentive, professional and knowledgeable staff, to the refreshing, creative drinks and tasty food, and the lively atmosphere. Karaoke night brought in some real talent and it was fun to sing along. Kid friendly- dog friendly patio-clean restrooms.. This is a Scottsdale secret that needs to be revealed! Excited to go back!

Great all around. Super chill locals vibe. I could see bringing a board game and some friends on a slower nightExcellent sound system for karaoke this last Saturday. (I think they do a weekday night too) Karafun song selection. Karaoke host was good and a good singer. She kept the rotation moving and didn't seem to play favorites. Great singer too. It's a newer place so the rotation wasn't too crazy and there were several great singers. Check this place out before it's a madhouse!Tacos were great. Beans were good too, charro style. As a phoenix native I was fully prepared to bash another "authentic" taco in scottsdale but these were good.Comfortable chairs. Massive patio with large fire feature. Lots of room to move around between tables.

Very nice salsa ruined because of cold chips. But friendly staff and had a great time karaokeing.

Great baretender Jared and host lance get tri tip sliders they’re awesome eat with the hot salsa!

Best margarita I’ve had in a long time!! Incredible food. Great happy hour. Super friendly staff and ownership. Definitely come check it out!
