I love yc's. It is a very good Mongolian grill. Great service, great food, the only aspect of this restaurant I dislike is the amount of people here on weekend nights so many people. But overall, a very good restaurant.

I'm going to be honest ever since I was a poor college student in the '80s I knew that YC's was the kind of place to come to to get good food. It's get the size bowl you think you can eat when I was in college I always got the large bowl because I could eat a lot but is an adult I get the small bowl because I don't need to be greedy. The food here is awesome totally fresh totally totally fresh. They have awesome sauces to put on your meat and veggies and they stir fry it right in front of you in a Mongolian grill kind of style. The people are always friendly you mean you're supposed to pay for it to go cup but if you don't remember they've often helped me out. But you ought to be aware that taking leftovers cost you $0.50 and parking is very tight and if you get there at the peak hours it's always crowded it this one. That's not a bad thing. It's a good sign The food here is freaking awesome. I hope you have a wonderful time dining here I know I haven't been posting a lot lately but I got a new phone and it's much easier to post so enjoy this is one of the places you'll see me at.

First cook put the sauce on first and it was decent. Ingredients aren’t what I remember in the past. Second cook dumped water all over everything twice, just water-logging everything and when I told him I had the sauce tray he was like yeah I know, as if that’s how he cooks it all the time. It was terrible, flavorless waterlogged meat. Be like the first cook dude…

The food is so good here and the ice cream.

Food is amazing here and the staff is very helpful. They check on the customers and ask if they need anything else. I’ll be back again for sure.

Update April 26th 2025
Another outstanding visit. Had a small problem with the sauces and it was rectified within 10 minutes. They actually showed concern and kept checking in on us to make sure everything was all right. I still think the prices are extremely overflated. If they weren't so high we would visit our normal once a month but since they've gone up so much we only go twice a year now.

I really miss The original Tempe location because it held a lot of memories.
We had to go to new location in Chandler or somewhere like that. It's okay but just wasn't the same.

This new location opened up and it was very clean and everybody was extremely happy. That means a lot.

We've lived In downtown Phoenix for over 30 years. We drive a long way for good food I'd really like to see one of these in the downtown area. I'm pretty sure it'll do very well!

Favorite place to eat , it’s Clean and the staff is SO SO Friendly

It was our first time coming here, as genghis grill has closed down their last location. My husband and I LOVED it!!!! The ingredients taste clean, they have many toppings and creations to choose from, the staff is very friendly and the prices are very fair for how much food you get! You build your own bowl, can create your own sauce and the food is cooked to perfection and has great taste! I would recommend YC’s to anyone looking for a great meal.

This was a great experience. Everything was fresh and it tasted great. What was really cool is they had a guy helping with what is usually the most complicated part of the process which is choosing and creating the sauces. I'm going back for sure 😁

Went in the other night with a friend, both the girls working the front and the buffet line were above and beyond helpful, and kind. They went out of their way to assist my friend select the right ingredients to avoid her severe shellfish allergy, Very unusual to see this level of hospitality, especially in a non primarily tipped position. The food was obviously amazing, but the excellent hospitality was the highlight! Good work ladies!

Very good food was delicious had the worker help with making the bowl plenty of spices and noodles also rice after they cook the meat endless drinks and had plenty to take home also an icecream dessert for the road . Will definitely come back when in Scottsdale. 3 thumbs up
