Drewbies is a welcome reprieve from the meat centric dining in the area. However I thought my nachos needed more vegan cheese and less refried beans. My falafel was super and I mean super duper lemony. I like lemon but tone it down next time. I would get it again as it was well made and fresh. The place is clean and inviting. With some tweaks this could be phenomenal. My vegan and vegetarian friends support this place to help grow vegetarianism in this area.
Derbies is one of the best vegan restaurants I've been to. Wide variety of food, very flavorful. Service was excellent. Really loved the pistachio cookies. Had the Jackfruit Pozole soup, which was absolutely wonderful. The Hummus was very flavorful. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend. Little off the beaten path but well worth the find. All menu items had vegan options.
We were definitely disappointed. The menu sounded delicious and there were lots of good reviews…but we both got the $18 Chimi Hendrix and they were small (~4”x4”) and the meat was tough.
