Last ate at Elote in 2013. Visiting from CA. Food is just as incredible as I remember. The Elote is hands down best we’ve had in Sedona: real corn, spicy, creamy, perfection. Smoked brisket enchiladas awesome: plentiful sauce, moist & Smokey meat. Full of flavor. Relaxed, fun atmosphere. Ate at Mole Kitchen & Mariposa & Shorebird: good, but Elote just so much better.
Reservations can be difficult to get if you don’t book well in advance, but it’s definitely worth it. The food was excellent and the service was great as well. The Elote corn is an absolute must-try! I also had the short rib enchiladas, which were delicious. Definitely one of the highlights of our Sedona trip.
It’s hard to get a reservation here, but we were lucky to get seats at the bar. The food is excellent and the hospitality is exceptional. Looking around the beautifully appointed new location it’s apparent that the management is not just trying to serve as many dinners as possible but instead create a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are very inventive and sometimes “challenging” but always well executed.
