Layla's Bakery-Cafe is a lovely café serving fresh pastries, including cheese danish, apple danish, and almond croissant. The café offers a variety of drinks, including lattes with alternative milk options and probably the best chai latte ever. The atmosphere is thoughtful and inviting, with a large parking lot and wheelchair accessibility. The food is great, featuring delicious sandwiches and smoothies, and the service is excellent. The cheese danish is probably the best ever eaten, and the cinnamon roll and croissants are so easy to mess up but done perfectly here. With not too much sweetness, they are truly perfect. Banana bread is also very good. Breads are delicious with excellent coffee. The decoration is very sober and elegant. It is a favorite with locals, making it a good sign for visitors. Fresh baked pastries are made daily in-house, and the syrups are all made from scratch at the restaurant. This place is definitely a go-to spot whenever in Sedona.
