Stopped in for an early dinner. The food quality was good but the Margaritas were very expensive and low quality. I think the server, who was a new employee, prepared the drinks
Thought the food was great! Best Mexican food I had during my time in the AZ area. The chef came out and handed us our food. The Rella and Enchilada had a lots of flavor and it came at a good price, no complaints from me 😁
Very disappointing experience.
You can’t see the menu or the guaranteed tip notice—it’s buried in fine print that’s easy to miss. Feels shady. On top of that, the prices are way too high for what you get. I won’t be coming
Nice place.
Great food, kind staff, and you know you are in the right place when locals are eating there.
Ask for the extra hot hot sauce
At Maria’s Cantina, hearts run wide,
With friendly faces and hometown pride.
A taco salad, fresh and bold,
In a setting cozy, calm, and gold.
Not just a meal, but comfort, too—
Where kindness wraps the food for you.
Sedona sunsets, spice, and cheer—
Maria’s makes you feel right here.
My son and I, while visiting Sedona, ended up at Maria’s twice. Mario attended to our needs and was such a joy to visit with. The entire staff was wonderful, as was the food! We will be back!

We’ve lived in the Village for six months and we’re sorry we didn’t come here sooner. The food was delicious and came quickly with excellent presentation, best I’ve ever seen at a Mexican restaurant. Service was great and very friendly. We’re glad to have found a new local favorite.

This is a cute little restaurant in Oak Creek Village. We had gone there years ago before we moved to Cottonwood from Phoenix. It's nicely decorated with comfortable seating. The staff was friendly, helpful, and even gave us a little history of the place. The food was excellent! I had a RELLENO AND CHEESE ENCHILADA, RICE & BEANS. The relleno was delicious! I love them, and this was the best I've had. My husband had the shredded beef Chimmichanga. He loved it. They were festively presented on the plates. We both highly recommend this restaurant. If you like Mexican food, you'll love Maria's .❤️

Maria’s was recommended by Hilton, the food was not good at all. Initially I ordered the carne asade ( the meat had a rotten taste) Ashely quickly took the very bad tasting meat away and offered me the menu. I played it safe and ordered a taco salad with chicken , that was bad also the lettuce was placed at the bottom of the taco shell and all of the hot ingredients rice beans and chicken melted the lettuce Into a lettuce soup at the bottom of my salad one piece of the chicken was shredded the other piece was a big chunk of unseasoned dry white meat chicken.
The came over and asked how it was I told him about the lettuce he just looked at me. So I was charged for a lettuce soup in a taco shell with unseasoned meat. First and last time visiting. I really wanted to enjoy the food. This was my first bite to eat in Sedona. Thankfully it got better !
