Searched best dive bars in oak creek and pj's came up first, glad it did, we were really craving something less pretentious than the Sedona scene. We were not disappointed, great staff, great atmosphere, good beer selection and reasonable prices. Next time we're out that way will go again for sure.

Great post hike lunch! Tacos topped with fresh lettuce and tomato, sangria cider, and warm chips with delicious salsa. Good music and a fun and clean atmosphere!

Grabbed a quick lunch salad--buffalo chicken (minus tomatoes and onions at my request). Quick & friendly service & got to catch a game at the same time.

We happened upon PJ's after hiking in Sedona. Wanting a less crowded dining experience than downtown Sedona. We drove to the Oak Creek area & found what seems like a local favorite, PJ's. It's a bar/restaurant with a decent food menu. Unfortunately of the three IPA's they typically offer, only one was on tap. Fortunately it was a really good local Oak Creek Brewery IPA. My wife ordered a portobello mushroom wrap & I had the pulled pork sandwich. As much as I love fries, I opted for a side salad & it was great. It was quiet (~2:30pm) so service was friendly & attentive. There are a few tvs showing sports & videos. It got much busier while we were enjoying our food - turns out Happy Hour starts at 3pm M-F. We just missed a cheaper meal by 20-30mins.

Awesome local, neighborhood tavern with excellent food, superb service & exceptionally friendly staff. We visited twice & it was excellent both times.

I stopped into PJ's to watch my college basketball team play while getting dinner. I selected the roast beef sandwich with au jus. It was outstanding. Lots of delicious lean roast beef with au jus that was flavorful and not salty. Piping hot generous portion. Topped that off with a 16 ounce Pabst Blue Ribbon beer for three dollars! The staff were attentive and made sure the right channel was selected for my basketball game. This pub really provides a great atmosphere and excellent pub food. I will always stop at PJ's when in the area. Their manager is to be commended.

Was warned by a local that this place tends to shun or ignore visitors and focuses on locals but decided to give it a go anyway. Should have listened :)

The only thing open but had a nice little vibe. Food was good for what you're getting, it is a bar so keep that in mind. The atmosphere was nice tho considering so many things close early in Sedona.

Not always the friendliest servers and a little too rushed. Obviously have favorite customers and treat them special. Have now been here 6 times and pretty much the same. By the way, food is great. Cocktails not always the same. Wine not the right temperature. I will be back.

Great little find with live music. Pub style food and drinks priced reasonably.
