I do feel sorry for our waiter so I left some tip, albeit not a great one. Tried many things, flavors were good not great, bland not creative. Says a lot if the mashed potatoes are the most flavorful aspect of a meal.Our server was clearly balancing most of the tables so not his fault, but still, felt rushed, stuttering, over polite, not very inviting. We had to refill our own wine glasses.The crab cakes were tiny, the friend chicken was sweet, the ribeye is 8-10 oz? So we got fish, fish was even tinier! I mean every single portion was 8oz or less yet over 40$. Do yourself a favor and go to the Mariposa and sit at the bar if they’re full. The food was decent in flavor but come on you’re practically robbing your guests. Will not be back I’ve been all over Scottsdale and Phoenix and Sedona my first time here was a disappointment. I spend more I get more most places, not here. 360$ and I’m not even 75% full.

The food was ok but overpriced. The actual dining experience wasn’t bad. However, I have been getting so many promotional emails and requests to review them over the past few days, that my inbox is cluttered. I didn’t sign up for a mailing list. If I go somewhere to eat, I just want to enjoy a nice dinner. I don’t want to be pestered with follow up emails to leave a review.
We celebrated our 30th year anniversary. The food was good but when we went to pay in cash for a $155. Bill. The waitress took our $200 cash and never returned with the $45. change. After that she avoided our table. We were planning to leave a $30. Tip but weren’t really given the opportunity. The forced tip left a bad taste in our mouth. When we contacted management we were told they were sorry, but left it at that. I don’t think we will return!
