How do you give a restaurant a half great and half awful review? Well the sushi was truly special and amazing. The seafood stew special was anything but. My girlfriend and I both were wondering how they could charge $50 for a bowl of unseasoned fish watered down with white wine. It’s quite embarrassing.
We've been going to Shorebird whenever we are in Sedona since they opened. Their General Manager comes from a fine dining background, so he knows how to run a restaurant. We always start with a drink at the bar before moving to a table, but often we have such a great experience at the bar that we eat dinner there. Disappointment for a Calfornia homed brand to abuse gluten free diners. Minimal choices and no option to adapt options for us. Just have individually packed gluten free breads available to us, ShoreBirds you should be ashamed. I personally chose this place due to Calfornia heritage and gluten free diets and had one of the worst dinning experiences of my life. View from porch was stunning. Better luck to U then I had
