My wife and I are total foodies and I'm a Mexican food snob, having lived in Guadalajara for 5 years. We were only in Sedona four days and went here twice. You should eat at Tamaliza. You'll thank me later.
I absolutely love Tamaliza — this was actually my second visit, and it was one of the places i was most excited to come back to while in Sedona!
The vegan options here are incredible. We got the vegan tamales with all the extra fixings, chips and salsa, and jamaicas, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with so much care. It’s not always easy finding vegan food that feels this authentic and satisfying, and Tamaliza absolutely delivers.

Food was super fresh and delicious…but ridiculously overpriced. $20 for a dressed tamal - $10 for a plain one? For four dishes and 2 drinks, we spent $120. Way overpriced, and I live in NYC!?
