Rose Vortex Cafe - Coffee / Smoothies / Juices

There was a sign that said be back in 10min waited for 25 min. And ended up leaving to the Starbucks next door :(

Maybe the smoothies are good but if you’re looking for solid coffee, this isn’t a good choice. In addition it was extremely hot in there, maybe the AC was broken? And the guy working was very unfriendly. :(

Wow... What a disappointment. Where to start?

1. The rose latte does not look like the photos. It is just a regular latte with a heavy amount of rose oil in it

2. And the rose oil makes the coffee taste like a grandmother's bathroom.

3. The advertise organic alternative milks. They even upcharge for that... But it is Kirkland brand oat and almond milk. These are not organic and when we asked about it the barista agreed that it is false advertising.

If you like overly loud metaphysical music, no air conditioning, terrible coffee, staff who knows nothing about all the additives they charge to add to your coffee (the rose oil, mushrooms, etc), and you hate your money... This is your place!

Tried the espresso, cappuccino, and flat white, each one was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Easily one of the best coffee spots around!

Walking in, we weren’t sure what to expect. The barista was very kind, and made us the best Americanos we’ve had all week. We’re tempted to drive back just for another cup before we head home!!

So glad we found this little gem on our trip! After I had my first cold brew, we came back every day. The barista was wonderful and so sweet + the coffee was delicious. Can’t wait to make this shop part of our routine on our next trip! 💖🏜️🌀

Very quaint place with great smoothies. The woman working there was so helpful in helping me figure out what to get. She is a shining example of how to treat customers. I wish I remembered her name.

Holy wow!!! BEST ROSE LATTE EVER! No joke. Solid barista and good oat milk.

Also had the Vitamin C Rose juice with beets, lemon, honey and rose and so so yummy! Def recommend! 😋 thank youuu

We should have taken photos but we ate it all before we had the thought. Delicious avocado toast, and refreshing smoothies. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

This second part of my review is in response to the owner’s reply to my review.
They posted a response because they knew I would receive it by email and then they deleted it so other customers cannot see it. I am attaching a screenshot picture of what they wrote.
I am not even going to address them now, but rather the readers of the reviews.
Whoever responded to me are wrong on so many levels I don’t even know where to begin. It is absolutely clear that they have no idea how to manage a business, nor deal with customers.
They cannot even take the honest opinion, based on the experience of a customer. Of course trying to make things right, and trying to get the customer to return and give them another chance is totally out of the question for them.
Here is what we ordered:
It was 2 of us and we both had a dopio (2 shots of espresso) the price for each was $6 for each dopio, and not $3, as they put in their response to me, which as i already said, they deleted, so you guys cannot see it.
I am also attaching a screenshot of the charge for the 2 dopios which with tax came to $13.18. I will say it Again: that is Overpriced- by a Lot.
To straightforward insult their customers is not only unacceptable and unprofessional, but quite frankly it is also shocking.
There are many options in Sedona for coffee, please read the reviews and make a smart choice.
Uptown Sedona is also very, very nice.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!!! Every year I come home to Sedona, & I always make sure to swing in and get my favorite chai with coconut milk. It is THE BEST!!! I am so grateful to be able to come back every year. Thank you, Vortex Cafe!!!! It’s not just a coffee shop, but a special place where magic happens!
