The espresso was sour. 2 star espresso. I would not have it again.
Overpriced, by a Lot.

This second part of my review is in response to the owner’s reply to my review.
They posted a response because they knew I would receive it by email and then they deleted it so other customers cannot see it. I am attaching a screenshot picture of what they wrote.
I am not even going to address them now, but rather the readers of the reviews.
Whoever responded to me are wrong on so many levels I don’t even know where to begin. It is absolutely clear that they have no idea how to manage a business, nor deal with customers.
They cannot even take the honest opinion, based on the experience of a customer. Of course trying to make things right, and trying to get the customer to return and give them another chance is totally out of the question for them.
Here is what we ordered:
It was 2 of us and we both had a dopio (2 shots of espresso) the price for each was $6 for each dopio, and not $3, as they put in their response to me, which as i already said, they deleted, so you guys cannot see it.
I am also attaching a screenshot of the charge for the 2 dopios which with tax came to $13.18. I will say it Again: that is Overpriced- by a Lot.
To straightforward insult their customers is not only unacceptable and unprofessional, but quite frankly it is also shocking.
There are many options in Sedona for coffee, please read the reviews and make a smart choice.
Uptown Sedona is also very, very nice.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!!! Every year I come home to Sedona, & I always make sure to swing in and get my favorite chai with coconut milk. It is THE BEST!!! I am so grateful to be able to come back every year. Thank you, Vortex Cafe!!!! It’s not just a coffee shop, but a special place where magic happens!

The employee that made our order was itching his head a lot before we ordered. After we ordered, he did not wash his hands or put on gloves and proceeded to touch the strawberries and other fruit that went into the smoothie with his bare hands. There was a complete lack of basic food safety. I was in shock and didn't know how to react and left, but I would not recommend anyone else come here. An $11 smoothie is not worth a potential food born illness.

The barista was incredibly rude to us. 0/10 good vibes.

Ordered doppio, but it was not up to my taste at all and very expensive on top of it. It was sour (organic brand, which I dislike). Baristas were nice.

Lovely vibes. The barista was awesome. Super nice guy giving off good energy. The place is super clean, and the front and back doors are open, so there's a breeze rolling through while you're sipping on a delicious latte. I got the rose cardamom latte. Very pretty and delicious. Def recommend!

This quant coffee spot located in the bend of a strip mall in Sedona was like finding treasure. The drinks were delicious and the prices are very reasonable. We will be back!

We normally stop for coffee & cake every afternoon when we're on the road. This was the best coffee that we've had in the past two months. Kind of a hippy vibe, and the coffee was perfect (flat white & strong americano).

This was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed 😊

I'm sorry, I got the worst chai I've ever had here. Maybe that's not the thing to get, maybe it was a bad day
