Hadn't been to get the famous carrot cake in a couple years and that was all I wanted for my birthday. So we drive over 4 hours round trip. Walk in and waitresses didn't seem very friendly but thought let's sit and get a sandwich and fries that we would share. Well get food our sandwich was good but the fries were over cooked. Asked for some ranch which the waitress took for ever to bring to us. Wasn't busy at the time we were there but when ever locals would come in she spent more time talking with them and being all friendly. Well I ask for carrot cake to go. That night go to have some and it's hard as a rock. I'm sure she knew it was hard when she packed it. I hope you can survive on your locals cause after reading some of the other bad reviews that's all who's going to support your restaurant.

Very fun place, quick and friendly staff. I had coffee cheesecake with chocolate ganache. If you like rich food like me then you will be in heaven. There was a lot of different choices for dessert. My mom got a very yummy looking breakfast and coffee which she enjoyed.

We stumbled into this amazing place trying to find dinner on our wedding night. The whole team at the cafe made us feel so special and celebrated our wedding night with their world famous carrot cake. The hospitality and vibe of the place is truly outstanding and I can’t wait to come back! The food was exceptional too, we tried the black bean burger, will definitely recommend for the vegetarians out there :)

Really enjoyed our dinner here! We’ve tried both this restaurant and the one across the way in the town and love both. I was anticipating lackluster food but burger and fries was great and of course we enjoyed the carrot cake. Really fun vibe inside and staff is super friendly. If you’re deciding between here and Roadkill cafe, come here if you prefer carrot cake and there if you prefer banana cream pie.

Since the daughter took over, probably California liberal! She put up signs against second amendment rights. The town supported the cafe in its growth. I hope the town leaves her.
