This is my top choice for Mexican food. I don’t go out to eat often and when I do 9 times out of 10 I choose El Charro. It’s what a Mexican restaurant should be. I don’t know how to say this without sounding rude but the restaurant doesn’t cater to rich white people. I’m not rich but I am white and I think that’s a fair assessment.
This place is absolutely amazing. I’m very picky about Mexican food and was super happy with the quality and generous quantity that this establishment provides. Met here with friends everyone enjoyed they meal, the waiter was great, and we were not rushed at all. There is a lady on site that makes fresh tortillas which is really cool too. Thanks for a great experience we will be back next time we are in Show Low! Pictured is the carne asada taco and a beef enchilada!...
Catherine helped out our big party tonight for a friend’s birthday, and was amazing! Extremely communicative, and very accommodating. We go up here once a year, and this was an amazing first time experience!! Thank you guys, love this place!
