Everything. This place is hands down a diamond in the rough. I wish I started going there sooner. Consistency in delicious quality food for reasonable prices. You can tell the staff and owners take pride in everything going on there. The manager is a great people person and it reflects on the other employees because as soon as you walk in the door, you feel like you’re being greeted by an old friend.
One word… BIRRIA! Get anything on the menu and choose birria. We had nachos and Mexican pizza. And the next morning we used the leftovers with eggs. We just keep looking at each other and exclaiming how good it was. The place is casual and extremely clean. The service was personal and kind. You can tell they take pride in what they do. We had a nice chat with the owner. He was very gracious and kind.
We were in town for the weekend and did the typical Google search for places...
We ate here once almost five years ago at the start of covid (we live in MI) and we still consider this one of the best Mexican places we've eaten at and we've gone to a LOT of them. The husband and wife were so kind and let us try things, and gave us recommendations, and even brought out a complimentary stuffed and grilled pepper for us! We're hoping to get back again!
