I've always enjoyed this place, & this last outing was no different. Due to staffing, it was recommended we take our orders to go. It was 40 mins before closing & storming out, my 2 teens & I asked if we could sit at a table. It was really a great experience sharing that time with my kids, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves.Recommended dishes: Bibimpop w/ extra egg

Sierra Vista is a tough place for restaurants. The food at the Bunbuku is better than most. However, they have fallen on hard times with their service. Now they cater to takeout because they are under staffed. You can still sit at the tables to eat but have to get up numerous time for refills on drinks, sauces, and condiments. Not sure we will go back?Parking: Limited parkingWheelchair accessibility: Very small restaurant. It would be hard to get a wheelchair in the restaurant.

I've been going to Bunbuku for years. Even after they changed ownership, I continued to be loyal to this establishment. I went in today, and I was utterly disappointed. I could put up with the fact that they didn't have any wait staff, smaller portions for the same amount of money, and even being served on styrofoam plates. What I couldn't put with was half through the meal they started playing country music and politics on the radio. What a shame that we can't be apolitical while trying to enjoy a meal. Well, it's their business they're free to run as they please. I just won't be going anymore.

We went to get food to go and we were offered water while waiting (around 20-25mins). The waiting time isn’t too bad since we ordered seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and pork bulgogi. Was supposed to get the soft tofu stew but they didn’t have it at the time. The banchan is ok but the main dishes tasted good and authentic. The portions are lesser than what we’re accustomed to with similar price range. But the staff are very accommodating and the ambience is nice.

I ordered pork bulgogi and spicy, for the price of the food item, the portion is relatively smaller than my regular places and also more expensive. The side dishes were also not that much and served in a very small portion. Korean rice is supposed to be cooked certain way but it is little bit different. Main thing is pork bulgogi did not hit that flavor of a good pork bulgogi taste. Restroom was clean. Service was ok. So overall I will rate this place 3 out of 5, for food service and cleanliness.

Easily one of the best places to eat in Sierra Vista. Food is great and the staff are wonderful. I think the prices are a bit too high, but not much can be done about that. I still try to drop in once a week.

My wife and I visited a brand new nearby brewpub and decided to stop by for dinner in this place. It appears kind of nondescript from the outside but I finally found a place that ranks with the best Korean food I have ever had in the US. I did two tours with the Air Force in the ROK and have never had this kind of Korean food over here. Spectacular! A new favorite for sure.

We went to this restaurant for lunch since we had been maybe a year or two before and remembered the food as being good. We will never know now. There were five other tables with guests, we made six tables. All the other people were waited on, including one man who came in after us. We sat there with the menus for over 20 minutes and no one would take our order or even ask about drinks. One waiter passed our table 12-15 times bringing things to the other tables yet could not take our order. The manager was standing righ behind our table and could clearly see that we had not ordered yet he did nothing. The women who cleaned the table apparently cannot speak since our "hello" and "how are you?" was ignored. Sierra Vista has a number of Asian restuarants and they are happy to see you and take your order. Not this place.

Cozy Korean restaurant with awesome food and quick service. Some small decline in portion size of the side dishes over the years but I have to assume that is due to inflation. They give you as many more side portions as you want if you ask.

The staff was nice, I hope she finds a job somewhere decent. I've lived on Korea and eaten in many "restaurants" there. Bunbuku has ended korean food for me. My daughter and wife got teriyaki chicken, big mistake. The girls made funny faces trying the chicken. They are actually sick in the stomach now. My not soup; this soup was a pile of food on a plate with a little juice on the bottom, somewhere. In spite of the nonsoup-soup, I thought, "My bad" and ate it anyway, that won't happen again. It was not as good as it looked, and It looked ok(ish). For the tiny fee of 80$ (not including tip) for the 3 of us, we could have had good food at so many other places. I have a hard time understanding how this place is in business. It's too expensive, small portions, bad food. I guess if you live in Sierra Vista, this place may seem like some mystical orient place where terrible food is a good thing.

Bunbuku Reastraunt is a lovely place to eat. Ani, my server by far, exceeded, many other servers! She has been one of the best. She helped me with my being vegetarian and celiac. It is such a beautiful pace to dine in. I ate all the food. The presentation was great, and I enjoyed every bite. I highly reccomend going here!

So surprised! Excellent traditional Korean. Great service! Bibimbop was served in the hot stone like it should be. Not many places get that right. I'd love to go back!

This place was amazing! I tried ja jang myeon for the first time and it was delicious and super comforting, they also made it vegetarian for me no issues. My boyfriend also devoured his beef bulgogi and the atmosphere was super relaxing. It was worth the price!Vegetarian options: They are happy to accommodate and said they could make any dish vegetarian if needed.
