😊 A friend and I came in around 7pm. The restaurant was pretty busy (dinner on a Friday night), but even though there were only 2 servers that had to run all over the restaurant, our server was attentive to our needs, the food didn't take too long, and it was good (classic burger and wavy fries for both of us).
I have been eating at Dennys my whole life. The family and I have had back to back bad experiences. The portions are getting very small and sloppy (presentation). It is always hard to determine whether the Dennys company policies are creating these standards or they are happening at the site level. Either way it was very disappointing.
We were seated near the kitchen and a few of the servers were loud and mean to the cooks. Not necessary to have this behavior. After about 2 hours, my husband and I got sick, stomach cramps and pain and had to spend some time in the bathroom. Still not feeling well.
Our server was an angel, she has always been pleasant. Wish I remembered her name, she deserves praise.
