Undine has been there for a long ti.e, her age makes it where she slowed the business down. I LOVE the Schnitzel and her potatoe salad reminds me of my Oma's. We meet on Fridays for lunch, and I just love it 2get together there...good people.

It's an Excellent place to go take an authentic German lunch , at the moment business hasn't been so well So you can really just get a plate of Perfect Real bratwurst direct from Stuttgart , with delicious perfectly seasoned cold or warmed potato salad, and a toasted German bread bun on the side...... You'll be Full, it was Delicious, and I was Very Happy to have my first opportunity to speak the language of my father's country I Miss so much with someone in over Two years......please go By for Lunch and help save an excellent old Sierra Vista institution..... It's very price worthy , 12 bucks for delicious authentic lunch, and will only get Better as things now improve with the new construction stuff and all being Finished.....Frau Faubel also bakes German cakes and various things to Order in Advance...... She's doing an excellent job all by herself at 78 all things considered, Big Thumbs Up , I'll be back again for Lunch tomorrow ???????

Not to sure what this establishment really is. If going to visit it try not to have any expectations. Decided not to eat here after walking in and getting the initial look.

I used to frequent this establishment often for lunch from 2004 - 2012 until I moved to Colorado, and then Maine. Don't pass this place up. A cozy eatery with wonderful meats and breads, as well as side dishes. Prices were fair and reasonable, your meals cooked to order. Wish they would expand to Brunswick, Maine.😕

Stopped here for lunch today. The Rippchen that I wanted was not available - "it's a winter meal". I had the brat, my wife had the hot pastrami and kraut. The kraut was excellent - I ended up putting a big glob on my brat. The bun was ver German, the sausage was very good. The pastrami was just so-so. Not very hot, not a generous portion of meat, and the bread seemed old. Service is very slow here. The proprietor is the cook, waitress, busboy, etc. Have patience. She is wonderful and very friendly, but there's only one of her! I guess I was expecting a bit more from a German deli. They didn't have any selection of sausages, cheeses, bakery, etc. to purchase for cooking at home. This is strictly a sandwich place.

Stopped in for a superb schnitzel sandwich on Rye with a German soda. The deli is run entirely by a lovely German woman and the food was quick and fresh. There were some German chocolates and snacks for purchase as well. The menu includes bratwurst, German soup and bread, schnitzel, potato salad, and other hot and cold German specialties.

The local "Big Box" had run out of their "German bologna" and hadn't re-stocked for 2 weeks. So where do you go, then, in Sierra Vista? "Deutsches Eck" aka the German Deli. Small deli, limited seating, limited menu BUT when I asked for a pound of German bologna, I got a pound of GERMAN bologna! GREAT! Thin sliced, old fashion packaging, super service despite the Owner multi tasking my order, her breads baking in the back, handling the phone and 2 "regulars." There is also a small grocery area of German products for sale. I'm so happy I stopped by and will be back; next time for bologna AND fresh bread! Please visit this store, you won't be disappointed!!
