I ordered a short rack of BBQ ribs. I'm unsure what the sauce was but it wasn't BBQ! The meat was old, dried out, and you had to fight to get it off the huge bones! I'll try it again before I write this place off for good.

if there were a negative it would be negative 10 on the food. brown Cole slaw,way way overpriced either dry or greasy food,no ac and half working swamp cooler. was 65$ for gyro,ff,2meat pulled chicken and ribs,these were combo plates so soda included with gyro.also had burnt hushpuppies!

My son had the chicken and brisket, he liked the bbq sauce flavor and was full before he ate his Mac and cheese! I had the gyro combo and it was really good! Fresh veggies and loads of french fries, the meat was tasty and plenty of flavorful sauce!! Sorry no photos, started chowing down!

We were the only patrons on Veterans Day around 11. I was curious as to why, so after we ordered I looked at the reviews. I can honestly say we had a good experience. The service was fine. The food good. Portions perfect. The restaurant itself was spotless, as were the restrooms. I'll definitely be back again. I hope others will give them a try too.

OVER PRICED/UNDERPERFORMING and EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING
The brisket was simply ruined. It wasn't served traditional style in thick meaty slices, instead it was irregularly sliced, extremely thin and drowning in a flavorless sauce, unlike traditional brisket, this closely resembled a wet plate of brisket soup. I was left wondering if they had run out of brisket and pawned off the left over trimmings as a meal. The sides were equally unappetizing. A totally disgusting culinary embarrassment. Down Home seems to have zero issues with charging top dollar but can't deliver the basics.
This is not an establishment that l could ever recommend visiting.

The rib tips were good and the potato salad was decent. But the Mac and Cheese was inedible as well as the Mish called peach cobbler. Would not recommend this place to anyone, especially for the price I paid ? disappointed.
Food was ok not worth the money the brisket is chinese food with bbq seasoning it was so bad cheap meat not cooked right the inside is dim only light by register holes in roof no bathroom ? it was out of order don't waste your time dickies bbq is 10 steps up and they are a chain resteraunt. I just don't understand how there in business selling drugs out the back??

Recently ordered a couple of pounds of pulled pork for carry-out. The pulled pork was delicious. Asked to have a light amount of sauce and they were happy to accommodate. Very friendly customer service.

Ate here today for the first time in a few years. I remember this place and the food being wonderful. Today it was not!! You may not be able to tell from the photo, but under the ribs are brisket and sausage. Everything is drowned in the same sauce and it’s all cold. The Mac and cheese is plain, no seasoning, and seems boxed. The beans are stewing in so much juice, and the flavor is terrible. Lastly, the potato salad is so tangy. It has all been thrown into the trash. So disappointing. Are they under new management or something? We will not be going back.
