I brought my family of 4 here last night (Wednesday) around 530 for my daughters 12th birthday. She wanted the hibachi grill. We're from out of town so I tried calling around 1130 to make a reservation. No one answered. I figured it'd be fine since it was a Wednesday. Unfortunately, we were turned down. We got there and as the hostess was seating us, the employees from behind the counter informed her that they weren't doing the hibachi that night. No where on their website or google does it say they don't do hibachi on Wednesday. We were pretty disappointed. We had looked at the menu beforehand and were planning spending well over $200 on this meal. We left and had dinner at the Chinese buffet for around $60 instead.

Good service, overpriced for what it is, food tasted stale

Their gyozas are to die for! I got the bento box with shrimp, rice, these chicken shishkabahbs (idk how to spell that), and tuna sushi. While it was a bit expensive, it was well worth what I paid for. If you're on a budget, you might want to go elsewhere or just get one of their less expensive items, but the bento box is great!

Went here for wife's birthday. Got sat so we got blasted with the cold air from the front door opening when there were plenty of other tables. We were denied a hibachi table when there were plenty of empty seats. The "hibachi" meals we got were not great and portions were clearly not cooked-to-order. My wife had been here before with our kids for lunch and it was really good, so expectations were high. She was rather let down. She called a few times before we left the house and no one answered the phone. And being so close to the door, we were also close to the phone and the habit of not answering the phone persisted. Value for money is low. Service was okay. Food was alright. I'd prefer not to go back, but I'd be willing to give the actual hibachi tables a shot.

Food was good. Exceptional service, floor was dirty, my chair was dirty, had dried food and crumbs on it. I had to take a minute and brush it off and pick off food before sitting down. Took a while for food to arrive, but it was good so waiting was fine. Portion size was good, larger than expected.

Ordered Chicken Katsu. I was so thinly sliced all I saw or tasted was heavy breading. I couldn't eat it and sent it back. The interior is nice with a bar and private seating. Food needs improvement before I would return. Sushi was popular but I am not a fan.

My family has been going to this place ever since they moved to SV nearly 6 years ago. It was our go-to place for celebrations given the prices. However we have noticed a drop in food quality the last two years with notable flavor changes and drop in service quality the last 4 times we have been. Tonight we decided to give the hibachi grill another chance since it had been quite a while. The waitress was friendly and attentive (better than the service we received the previous few times) but that doesn't make up for the quality of the food and drink. The 'house sake' was tart and obviously not the quality they had in the past; and when it got cold it lost some tartness but gained a bitter flavor instead. The 'ginger' dressing used for the salad tasted more like oranges than ginger. The 'miso' tasted like 2/3rds beef broth 1/3 miso combination - at least it wasn't overly peppery like previous visits. Previously when doing the hibachi, the chef started off by pouring the dipping sauces for everyone and confirming how they'd like their stakes (if stakes are ordered). Our chef only served the dipping sauces towards the end of everything and only after people asked for it - once again the 'ginger' sauce tasted more like oranges than ginger. The chef also didn't ask about how the stakes should be cooked until after it had reached a medium-rare on the grill top, by the time he served the stake it had become more medium than rare even though everyone said medium-rare. We keep hoping that the quality would improve again, but with noticeable decreases in quality 5 times in a row - it's going to be hard to want to come in the future. 3 years ago this place had been 4-5 stars, now it's consistently 1-2.

First time here. Hubby and I very much enjoyed this venue and will be back. Had the Crab Rangoons appetizer, Seaweed Salad, California Roll, Philly Roll, and the Crunch Time Roll. Honestly, it has been quite a while where we've had decent sushi rolls. These were absolutely tasty and delicious! So fresh and yummy! Awesome flavor and completely falls apart in your mouth. So delicate! We were delightfully surprised. Thank you to Hana Tokyo for a wonderful dining experience!

Was very dissatisfied with our meal today, we ordered a to go order with a roll with no avocado and double checked with the host helping to be sure that there was no avacado. Just to tak a bite straight into some avocado!! Fried rice was not very fried, super mushy. I ended up throwing away most of my $40 meal.Normally wouldn’t review but this is not the first time this has happened with a to go order for us and pretty upsetting.

Very slow. They told me 2-3m for a sushi roll to be finished.....20 minutes ago. Then when you ask 20 minutes later they have to check on it, and it's still not done. How long does one sushi roll take to prepare?
