Not a great dining experience. The toast chicken salad topping was much less than last visit. The wine was more expensive than before and an upcharge on a substitution was not disclosed by the server. Will not be going back anytime soon.
Great place!!!
We happened onto Tandem on a Friday, late-morning, on our way out of town. Mt husband basically flipped when he saw the bacon: thick-cut, smoked and delicious! The service was excellent, and everything we had was amazing! (Their kale take on coleslaw was perfect!)
I definitely recommend Tandem American Eatery, and would love to have one locally! It’s a real treat!
I went to the Rotary Club Chocolate Tasting and they had Molé wings there… please please put them on the menu. I keep thinking about them 🥲
We decided to try Tandom American Eatery after reading good reviews about the place.
We're a party of two and ordered 2 entres.
Spouse had the ribs in puff pastry and I had the mushrooms, caramelized onion and truffle burger. I added fries to my order eventhough chips comes with it.
Also I ordered a beer and Spouse a lemonade beverage.
Service was prompt and helpful throughout.
All our Food was well prepared and very tasty.
The Atmosphäre was a bit stark not really warm or fuzzy .
We would totally return to Tabdem American Eatery for another tasty dinner.
Hidden gem, the burgers are GREAT. Fast service
Great recommendations and fun time.
Portions, quality, and taste were definitely on point during our most recent visit.

I had the fish and chips. I could not cut the fish with a knife. It was so hard amazing isn't it. I think it must have been in a freezer for 4 years. Threw it in a deep fryer while it's still frozen. One other thing about the fish. The breading crust would not stay on the fish and you have to eat it separately if you wanted any crunch. This was my first time eating in this establishment and I will never go back. My wife had the shrimp and lobster roll and it was as bad as the fish. I don't like giving bad reviews but this place deserved it. I don't want to really tell you what the cheesecake dessert look like when they brought it. If you get my drift. It was all mixed together, not layered. It did not look very appetizing. Had a lot of blackberry seeds in it made it undesirable to eat
Parking: Not well. Decorated hard benches and the screwy layout of tables very loud while trying to eat

We finally made it to try this version of our beloved Tandem. Though some things were different than what we are used to and forewarned by Patrick we understood the changes they needed, but it is now a sports bar set up so...
We ordered the carrot cake to go and really should have said something when it arrived smashed into a plastic to go cup instead of a nice container maintaining the shape of the cake, not smashed bits with cream cheese frosting smash on top. We had to be somewhere and wanted to enjoy it when we got home. It was a big struggle to get it out of the cup and serve it for us both to share.

Tandem offers tasty eats and excellent service. I’ve been there for both lunch and dinner, and it’s great to see a restaurant like this thriving on the far east side of town. The savory toasts are distinct (fave = sweet potato, goat cheese, and walnuts), the pasta was well cooked (love the porcini), and a friend declared the short rib the best she’s ever had. On top of that, the servers have been cheery and patient with every question. Excellent place to order a quick bite or sit with friends and enjoy several courses.
