We were driving through the area and made an impulse-stop at this winery...we're so glad we did! The location is beautiful and the staff was so kind to us! Friendly atmosphere and good wine - food looked delicious too, but we didn't order any this time around. Definitely worth a visit and highly recommend :)

This was by far one of the best wineries we went too on our trip! Their Syrah is pure gold! Service was good. Their charcuterie boards & bruschetta was to die good! We absolutely will be returning & getting more wines! I would rate this place a 12/10 if I could!

Amazing sunset with the (almost) full moon. Got here in time for the chilled Grenache, perfect for the temperature transition from evening to dusk.
I enjoyed the tasting selection and was interested in the different grapes used. I'm from the Western NY area and familiar with cold weather grapes and wines.
Runes had live music and was serving outside as well. A very pleasant, relaxing spot to enjoy some wine, a snack and a hike.

We included Rune in our brief wine trip to Sonoita as much to support its commitment to sustainability as for the excellence of the wines they create. I felt that I could taste and smell the purity of their wines. I just wish they had more varietals on offer, and a bit more consistency across them. Beautiful vistas to enjoy while tasting.
