One of the gems of Sonoita! We were there for the Christmas market. There were a dozen local artisans, a food truck, live music. Huge sprawling green lawn. Tasting room is hip modern and full of local goods for sale.
Meads are fresh tasting with interesting mixes.
Meads, ciders, and wines that are unique in brightness and effervescence.
What a fun, well-curated space with great drinks!
A great dog friendly place to stop in for mead. Kylie, one of the owners who served us on a quiet Wednesday, even offered to give us a tour of the back room. She was informative and happy to talk about the process. I would easily come back here. Our favorite flavors: Lavender Pear, Mel Mare, Ziggy's Honey Lime, and Mint Julep. They make a popular Banana mead, but they were out of it when we went. Also, they have a decent selection of other locally made items.
The drinks were great. The spot was beautiful. Great way to spend an afternoon/evening with friends or family
Went here for their chili festival this weekend. What chili margaritas. Truck vendors were there with food and a great band playing music. The weather was perfect! We had a lot of fun.
Great food great drinks and great company
Great mead, great vibe!
Great place to chill and have a few glasses of mead. Went there while visiting my family bought some bottles and some great cheese spread. And they have some board games.
It's dog friendly which is always appreciated. There is a really pretty outdoor area with lots of seating and lawn games to play. I had a slushie and my brother had one of the meads. Both were really good.

Learned about The Meading Room from some friends and decided we would take a drive to Sonoita and visit. We were not disappointed. Great vibe as we drove up the drive and strolled up to the front door. The staff was friendly. The sitting area was comfortable. The menu had many offerings, so we decided to try the Mead flight. Admittedly, we were overwhelmed as we had never had mead. It was fun and we left with several bottles of mead. Worth it!

Stopped in on a whim and very glad to have done so. Haven’t had good mead in a while! I tried all of the sessions in my flight.

Someone recommended The Meading Room and we gave it a try after visiting Hops and Vines on a Saturday afternoon. The tasting area was busy with a few high tables left for sitting and tasting. We waited our turn at the counter and learned our Sonita and Elgin area purchased glasses were no good at this location. We sampled a number of ciders and meads and concluded this wasn't for us. We moved on to the next location on the tasting rooms map.
