22 Best Diners near Sun City

“Visited Benny’s for the first time! 8/28/24
Since we’d recently moved to the area (Sun City) we’re ALWAYS looking for the best small businesses. We were ISO a good burger-spot that wasn’t just some big expensive burger chain, like Jack’s or Freddy’s. And when we tasted Benny’s? WOW! We’re so glad we stopped.

It was about 2:30/3p when we stopped by, but surprisingly, almost ALL wall/window tables were full! It was pretty busy, despite our visit being in between lunch and dinner, but there was a table by the door with two chairs, so we took that one. My boyfriend had gotten a pastrami burger, and I got a classic—Both with avocado. And, I’ve gotta say? I am SO elated to see a business that ISN’T charging $3-$5 just to add avocado to a burger. It’s such a simple thing, but thank you for not assaulting the wallets of your customers over vegetables/add-ons!!

The front lady was VERY kind, and even though we hadn’t immediately stated that this was our first time there, she still explained every part of how they serve their burgers. You could tell that she cares! They do charge extra for each slice of cheese on a classic, though—which isn’t mentioned anywhere, except by their specialty burgers. Despite the pictures of the classics all having cheese—This extra charge was definitely a surprise to us. Extra dollar aside, the flavor of a classic is a bit comparable to Portillo’s—but less of that strong, tangy mustard—and more creamy and savory, with Benny’s classic burger. The meat was hot and fresh, with thick patties, and plentiful amounts of veggies & sauce. The fries are seasoned, so after your first bite, you may think for a moment that you need salt, but after the second bite? Nah. They’re perfect the way they are. All around, the best burger place we’ve visited in a while. Spent about $30. But it’s worth the price—Unlike Portillo’s, or Freddy’s.

Parking: There’s only about 1 parking spot that Benny’s has to offer in front of their building. The other one is handicap only. Everything else is general, shared-lot parking, so when you visit: Hope that it’s not too busy! ?“

Then the next day I went and I had a waffle The potatoes were so perfect. And the place is very clean. Fast service and everyone was friendly ! Can’t wait to go back. ! “10-7-24. I was just in the pkg lot after visiting Integrity(Amazon hiring place).
I use to do basic cleaning of the restaurant in 86-87 with James Davison for ACME cleaning. Graveyard pt. It was a "EGEES" I think back then.“

“Once you go through the doors you have entered the way back machine. You find yourself in a 50's style dinner. Elegant in its style and motif. Very clean inside and out. Many of the food items seemed to be transported to the 21st century. The staff is very friendly and courteous.
No paper plates or plastic cutlery. Real dishes, real food that taste great.
I had the chili-cheese fries and freshly made chocolate malt. BTW their French fries are made right in the diner daily.
Wireless diner has found itself on the campus of Sanderson Ford is a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or late afternoon snack.
I look forward to returning there soon and try other items that are on the menu.“

“Fast Eddies is by far the cleanest place to eat in arizona, and the food is excellent, the owners are good hard working people and the employees are great. “I came to this establishment when it first opened. I had a horrible experience. Food was cold. Waitress was rude , had an attitude like if you don’t like it go else where. Spoke to a manager and I remember him shrugging his shoulder and said we just opened. Trying to iron out the kinks. I vowed to never come again After yrs. I stopped by. Was craving the grand slam. I was very impressed with the greeting. Food was good and hot. Waitress Erika was outstanding. All staff very attentive. Smiling. Fast service. It made a big difference from my prior visit. Friendly and attentive staff make one feel welcomed and you want to return Thank you Dennys“
