“I found Benny’s while googling best burgers in Surprise when we moved here 4 years ago. Their burgers are really good, but after I tried the Korean tacos I was hooked. Friendly service, prices are about the “new average “. The fried wings, polish sausage, just about everything I’ve ever tried has been great, and it’s always hot when you get it. The owner is a great guy who takes time to talk to his customers and make sure everything is good. I highly recommend Benny’s Burgers.“

“McDonald's is nothing if not consistent. I do wish I could order an iced coffee that wasn't so sweet and so creamy. I tried ordering with 1 pump of sweetener and 1 cream, but it comes the same as if you do a regular order. Kinda frustrating, but you can't beat the price!“

I ordered the bacon burger and it was honestly the best I’ve had in the area. I was disappointed that they give you a free all American burger for your birthday but in the last year they changed it so you have to eat in. No more take out. If you drink anything besides water then you have the price of the burger. I know times are tough. For 2 burgers it was $40.00. Splurged for my birthday.“

“Failed to mention anywhere on the menu of peanuts in a TOP SIRLOIN steak dish. Brought my significant other for her 21st birthday only to spend the night in the hospital. After leaving the establishment, my party was forced to cover myself and her’s tab of dishes we weren’t able to enjoy due to their negligence as we had to sprint out of the restaurant. It was a memorable night, but for the worse. On what should’ve been a celebration, Red’s/Wigwam turned it into a nightmare. If they were careless from a foundational standpoint to glaze over something as common and as critical in food safety as a peanut allergy (on a dish that wouldn’t been remotely associated with the food group) I cannot imagine what other basic common sense and customer service areas they are lacking on. I wish I had more of a well rounded experience to reflect on, but as abrupt as the experience shifted it’s hard to really say much with what limited time we actually got to spend in the establishment, but from a back half perspective it was definitely far from ideal. Only consolation was that they packed the food (which put her in the hospital) to go for the remainder of the party.

I will say, our waitress Shannon was a sweetheart and this wasn’t her fault, it should be listed on the menu considering the context

UPDATE:
After a call back a couple days later, my experience changed. We were contacted by Isabel, the restaurant manager and she gave us a sincere apology which included a complementary stay at the resort and dinner as well as an update to the menu to protect future allergy sensitive patrons (which is most important) As much one can complain about an experience we had initially higher management resolved the issue to the best of they’re ability and for that I now have a different perspective of the wigwam/Red Allen’s.“

“Ryder was a treasure and a delight. He didn’t seem weirded out about our very heated conversation about whether chickens should, in fact, be considered birds. Australia feels very strongly about them not being birds. Anyway, he did great and my pancakes were great 😘“

“Haymaker has been our favorite local restaurant since we moved to AZ 6 years ago. When they moved across the street to their new location - it’s even more our favorite restaurant. The new location is bright, clean and airy. Food is the same great quality as their original menu. Breakfast for dinner is the best. Servers are friendly and very attentive. Braden is the best! “The food here is delicious but they always take a long time to get it out. Maybe its because it is made fresh all the time but i went through the drive through for a fry and onion ring only. Youd think this might take 5 min to drop in the fryer but i waited over 20 min and wasted my entire lunch break. By the time i got back to work i had no time to eat. Great food just make sure you have time to wait for it.“
