“Failed to mention anywhere on the menu of peanuts in a TOP SIRLOIN steak dish. Brought my significant other for her 21st birthday only to spend the night in the hospital. After leaving the establishment, my party was forced to cover myself and her’s tab of dishes we weren’t able to enjoy due to their negligence as we had to sprint out of the restaurant. It was a memorable night, but for the worse. On what should’ve been a celebration, Red’s/Wigwam turned it into a nightmare. If they were careless from a foundational standpoint to glaze over something as common and as critical in food safety as a peanut allergy (on a dish that wouldn’t been remotely associated with the food group) I cannot imagine what other basic common sense and customer service areas they are lacking on. I wish I had more of a well rounded experience to reflect on, but as abrupt as the experience shifted it’s hard to really say much with what limited time we actually got to spend in the establishment, but from a back half perspective it was definitely far from ideal. Only consolation was that they packed the food (which put her in the hospital) to go for the remainder of the party.
I will say, our waitress Shannon was a sweetheart and this wasn’t her fault, it should be listed on the menu considering the context
UPDATE:
After a call back a couple days later, my experience changed. We were contacted by Isabel, the restaurant manager and she gave us a sincere apology which included a complementary stay at the resort and dinner as well as an update to the menu to protect future allergy sensitive patrons (which is most important) As much one can complain about an experience we had initially higher management resolved the issue to the best of they’re ability and for that I now have a different perspective of the wigwam/Red Allen’s.“

“The girl at the counter was really friendly. I placed a mobile order for dine in and after a while it still wasn't on the screen. So, I showed them my order in the app and stated it wasn't showing. She stated that we have to let them know for those orders. I then see her placing food into a bag, so I reminded her that I'm eating inside. She said we'll, it's already in the bag and tries to slide it and my drink to me. I asked if I could get a tray because I am eating there, so she places everything on the tray. I started taking things out of the bag and placing them on the tray. I see the fries that look stale, so I bit one. They were horrible, so I told her that the fries are stale and I needed some fresh ones. I waited some time for more fries that were overcooked by the way and when I started eating my burger the patties were very pink. I don't know if I will be rising that location again anytime soon.“

“This is how a Burger should look, Best burger I’ve ever had at Burger King best service in forever and atmosphere was amazing!! Natalie, Briseyda, Fabian, Jesus, Caesar, and Luis Did a incredible job today and hope this continues because you might of made yourself a frequent visitor!!
