Walleye on Fridays! I'm from the Midwest and really missed a good walleye dinner. But not anymore! This is the place to get my walleye fix! Perfect amount of breading, not too much or too little. Great baked potato and coleslaw too. It's very small inside. Friendly service. Alcohol is available, including mixed drinks and tap beer. My friend told me about Sunset Bistro having specials each day of the week. He said Tuesday's they have German food and they make a great schnitzel.My friend, brother and I all had the Jager Schnitzel (pork cutlet). It comes with 2 side dishes. I had the Potato pancakes ( a small side of apple sauce) and the Spätzle ( egg noodles). The Schnitzel comes with a small cup of mushroom gravy where you can liberally pour or dunk the Schnitzel. Another great find while visiting a friend... What a surprise of a German add on to the menu only on Tuesday's... Great rouladen and schnitzel! German potato salad,spaetzle and potato pancakes! Looking forward to return!
