This understated restaurant is a hidden gem at the very southern edge of Phoenix. I always eat here with my boss when we're working in the area. He loves the chicken fried steak breakfast with a buttered biscuit, and I always get the vegan breakfast burrito (no eggs or cheese) with avocado and veggie burger crumbles. Our first time, will come back and recommend to family and friends! I had smothered chicken fried chicken it was seasoned very well with their melt in your mouth biscuits. My husband had the meat lovers omelette smothered with gray. We both enjoyed our meal.
The pancake was fantastic. A perfect griddle pancake, light and filling. Friendly and attentive service. Delicious california benedict and decent NM breakfast burrito. Outdoor seating was nice to have, but seating is not very comfortable and you are basically in an extension of the parking lot.
