I placed an order for pick up on 3/30/2024. At 8:04 PM, we picked up our $70 order to take it home, only to find that nothing was correct. First, I ordered a Carne Asada burrito, only to find I was given a BEAN AND CHEESE burrito. Secondly, all the sides were cold. Third, my husband ordered carne tacos to find they were NOTHING like the tacos he ordered from another location. Less meat, smaller quantities of everything. Overall, a disappointment despite our previous experience at an alternate location. We would like this to be recompensed in some manner. Go to the Avondale location over this one and day!

Not quite sure what to think of this place or say that I would make it a point to return. We ordered the table side guacamole. The only thing tasty about it was the added pomegranate. Basically chunks of avocado, not even smashed and just no flavor. Then to try and eat that with a basket of tortilla chip broken crumbs, basically had to eat it with a fork or two small chips to scoop together. I had the enchilada trio which was alright but had a tangy taste to the white sauce and a bit of ketchup tomato taste to the red sauce. Overall I guess it was ok and our waitress was nice and gave good service.

Tanner provided quick service and was super polite and attentive. I am pleased with the atmosphere here and how quick the food came out! At other Barrio locations, I wait much longer for my food but this location was so much faster and I felt that Tanner did an amazing job handling the lunch rush! I will be coming again for sure! thanks Tanner!

We love the patio. With the wonderful live music it was quite loud if sitting in that side of the patio but they were quite good. Food has been good at each visit but not a fan of the guacamole for the high price.

We've dined at the Tempe location and weren't satisfied with the service nor the food but that was some time ago . We've recently dined, in the surprise location surprisingly it wasn't busy except the bar and had the same experience, the waiter got us seated, told us she would be back and 15 minutes later came to get our drink order , we waited another 15 minutes for our drinks . As we were ordering our waiter, kept talking to other waiters that were passing by, so we were having to repeat ourselves . We were finally served after a very long wait , bland room temperature food . The tortillas were rubbery and the pozole was bland with a ton of mushy overcooked rice and what seemed to be canned chicken.

The food was a real disappointment. The guacamole, chips and margaritas were excellent. The entrées we ordered were mediocre at best. We were really disappointed, and I first basket chips. It consisted of broken pieces and ends, as if it were the end of the batch, a good kitchen would never send something like that out, overall I was very disappointed in barrio queen.
Omg sooooo Good! We got the molcajete and the chile relleno it had like a colachi mix inside so delicious! The service was a little scattered and a lot of waiters staining around talking and prepping in public but other than that the food was great and the music made it so much fun

Everything was incredible! We had a such a fun and enjoyable family dinner here. The service was outstanding and we were so appreciative of our server Sam. He was very attentive. The food was outstanding and the drinks absolutely on par. We would definitely recommend!
