I was so excited to try this place as I’ve heard about it before. Especially with the wide and unique options for sandwiches. I ordered the big Jake with the Dutch crunch roll and was so excited after hearing so much about this bread… only to find out that it was the worst sandwich bread I’ve ever had. It was hard as a rock, so much so that it made the rest of my sandwich inedible. It scratched and scraped the top of mouth with just a few bites. I didn’t even finish it. I was disappointed to say the least. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here. Not sure if the bread was left out all day or if it’s just really that bad. Ruined my entire experience.

I've been here before, but my last visit wasn't great. The guy at the register didn't know what he was doing, and it took way longer than it should have. They were friendly, and the place was clean, but there's hardly anywhere to sit. I had the pastrami sandwich with, I think, Dutch crunch bread. The bread was horrible; I don't know if it was old, but it was like chewing on stale croutons – terrible. It ruined my sandwich, which was supposed to be hot but was cold in the middle. My wife liked her sandwich, but I think I'll try somewhere else next time.

They had me repeat my order and still didn't get it right. I only asked to remove 3 things. The sandwich itself was still okay. They include a surprising amount of meat! I'm really disappointed in the lack of pickles, mismatching the name's sake.

A little expensive for a sandwich and not a big fan of the Dutch bread but a lot of meat in the sandwich

Tried this place for the first time and enjoyed it as it is a bit different than other sandwich shops.
I enjoyed the offerings and my selected sammie was really good. Not much to the atmosphere, but what do you need or expect for that matter.
I'll eat here again and kinda expect to visit about once every 2 months or so.

This place has amazing sandwiches the I’ve ever had, my favorite is the Baja Cheesestake!!! I highly recommend this place if you like sandwiches & they have a lot of different choices.
⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ — 2/5 Stars
We’ve been eyeballing this place for quite a while and decided today was the time to give it a try. There never seems to be anybody inside the restaurant, which is red flag number one. There’s also a lack of photos on the menu, which makes it difficult to decide what you want.
They did have a cool bread called Dutch Crunch, which looked very good. The sandwiches came out and I even took a photo because I thought they looked delicious. I would rate the sandwich about 3 stars. The bread was difficult to eat—chewy and probably stale.
I was delighted to find out we also got free cookies in the bag… until we took a bite. These cookies tasted like they were on the clearance shelf at the grocery store for a couple days. They tasted like straight cardboard, dropping my rating down to two stars.
I would never choose to eat here again, but if someone really wanted to go, I suppose I would. Better than Subway, but that’s not saying much.

I had this place one time before and have the Dutch crunch bread. The exterior of the bread was crunchy. The inside was soft.. I don’t eat there all the time cause I can’t afford it and it sucks to say, but I am disappointed tonight. The entire bread is hard and seems stale. Was hoping for another great experience like the first time I ate there.

I am moving to the area from Peoria, and was checking out what's in the neighborhood. I was happily surprised to see a Mr Pickles.
I lived in Sacramento about 10 years ago, and Mr Pickles was a lunch time staple for me there, and really hit a lot of nostalgia when I came in. It's been updated a bit since I have last gone to one, and I did read that the company sold and is now AZ based, but it hasn't lost the taste at all. Nice to have a sandwich on a fresh and warm dutch crunch roll again. This is now my local go to sandwich spot.
