I am a whiskey drinker, I simply stopped at State 48 in Surprise to have a beer with my wife being Friday and we are getting ready to celebrate Father's day and we were seated in the Barrel room. We had a server named Eddie and he introduced us to some syrups that he had created to mix with Bourbon whiskey. I am not so much a Bourbon whiskey drinker but Eddie has changed my mind. For a Saturday afternoon, the seating & service was VERY SLOW. Food was good, atmosphere was a lil cold, not friendly. Our 1st experience was not the best so we decided to give State 48 another try...... we won't be coming back a third time!
The food here has always been great! The best Buffalo Chicken wrap ever and the best French fry's in AZ. Service is always good, knowledgeable and friendly. If you don't find your favorite beer in town here, you shouldn't drink beer. There is a very wide selection of beers and the price is more than fair.
