We enjoyed our dinner prior to the Gammage Center event tonite. The parking was so handy and free. Walked to and from Gammage without any issues and our vehicle arrived swiftly, so we could be on our way home. Thanks!

We has a lovely dinner before we went to the Book of Mormon show at ASU Gammage Center. We use valet parking and it was free since we ate at the restaurant. The restaurant is right off the valet and check-in for the Canopy Hotel - super easy to park car and go into restaurant. Alter Ego has warm, cozy, artsy vibe. Service was quick and attentive. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Bowl and the Crusted Salmon. They were both delicious! After we were done, we just walked about 7 minutes to the Gammage Center. It was lovely! We felt very safe going and coming back the the hotel. Bonus was the Insomnia Cookies that was open right next door! We picked up some yummy cookies and milk, received our car from valet and called it a wonderful, fun, yummy night!

Neat vibe in this restaurant! Love the indoor/outdoor feel. Dishes were flavorful and filling. The Brussel sprouts with bacon were amazing. Overall a nice pre-show (Gammage) dining experience.

Food was superb! It is in the lobby of a hotel which I wasn't expecting but there is seating behind the kitchen that feels more like a restaurant and not just Lobby seats.

Came here for NYE, as we were staying at the hotel itself and didnt want to scout about Tempe for a quick bite. The head bar tender is AMAZING, don't remember her name, bevause she made us such awesome drinks hence the shout out! We had a very unique drinks - Sakura Martini and Fukuroa from the menu, it was magical!! The Sakura Martini looks magical and is lethal though it doesnt look.. :P We also tried the flatbread which was amazing. We ordered a Old Fashioned and French 75, just amazing! Do try those.

Looked like a nice place to have a good thanksgiving dinner with my husband so i booked a table at 6 pm. We got there a bit early, but they seated us right away. The tables are a bit close together and right out in the middle of the hotel entrance which i thought was a bit weird?? but anyway, the waiter came and took our drink order and also our food order since we knew why we were there!! Food came out pretty quickly, didn't seem like there was anyone really there yet?? So the plate came out, looked good. Tasted pretty good but turkey was not fresh turkey but off of a turkey roll so it wasn't super tender. gravy was over salty, and when asked for some extra - i was brought out a tiny silver cup with about 2-3 tablespoons of gravy. After food was brought out, we didn't ever see our waiter again. I needed a drink refill, but never got one. needed a box to take home leftovers and still needed a drink. We had to ask the busboy to find our waiter?? We had to remind him of pumpkin pie that came with the dinner, he said Oh yeah, Ill get them for you to go. I asked for a box and a bag since i didn't want to try and get it all to the car!! Finally got a small to go box and a bag. No pie to go?? waited about 15-20 minutes again - waiter walked by asking if we needed change or something?? we just said we were waiting for the pie to go. oh yeah, it's coming. Finally was handed a large box with the two slices of pie to go, we bagged everything and left. Got home and had the tiniest two pieces of pie i have ever seen.. oh well, chalk it up to wrong place - wrong time I guess??

Vibe were chill, our server, Josh was amazing, food and drinks were delish. Will definitely visit again.
Good food, good service, good atmosphere. And even sitting outside the roadside noise wasn't too bad. We will be back.

Food is great, absolutely no doubt! Ambiance modern, pretty cool hotel lobby (Canopy by Hilton), but loud. Place seems to be new, servers are very lost and seem not to know what is going on. Host was somewhat rude and didn't seem to care much about good service. Bartender Ben was awesome suggesting local wines and overall service.

Very bad experience. Water was literally dripping on our table from the ceiling. Told the waitress when she came to our table and then sat there for 10 minutes without anyone coming over or doing anything so we left. Have a reservation at this hotel in December and will now be canceling

We had a 9pm reservation after a Sun Devil's game. It was busy but a few open tables. We were seated quickly but then ignored for 20 minutes. Finally our waitress came to apologize and say she'd be with us soon. She never came back so we left. There were staff wandering around that could have helped but chose not to.
