Best Mexican food I have had outside of Mexico. I have been eating here since I was in high school. They have come a long way and built themselves up so well that they even have multiple restaurants. If you want some amazing Mexican food made quick and done right, you found your place.Added: 4-25-2024Just because I want to add more to this review as this location deserves it.I have been coming to this Amado's location for many years... In fact, this is Amado's very first location. I was likely one of Amado's first 50 customers.. Now they have expanded by size of current location and by opening multiple locations. The food is of better quality now as well. I even remember when this Amado's location used to be occupied by circle K. I moved to Oklahoma for 7 years and every time that I would visit Arizona, Amado's was the first place I would request to eat. I had a terrible selection of Mexican food restaurants (if you could even call them that) in Broken Bow Oklahoma. Locals knew nothing of Good Mexican food. Their idea of a taco was something similar to that of Taco Bell. I'm now living in Arizona again (thank the stars) and I enjoy eating at amado's just as much as I have in the 30 years since they opened this location. I now live only a block away from Amado's very first location. Keep doing what you're doing Amado's! And for anybody questioning if you should try it out... Don't! Stop questioning it! You literally will not go wrong ordering anything You see on the menu. Enjoy!Parking: It's a little small but is only packed on weekends.Kid-friendliness: Great family location

I was always hyping up this place to friends, but these last few visits the food has just been bad. The meats have come out over cooked and bland, and the tortillas don't taste the same either. Will definitely avoid for a while before trying it again. ?
The new salsa in clear packets SUCK! Been coming here for years, the salsa AIN'T the same, fix it.

I've been coming here for awhile and it's my go-to over any other name in town. First, I want to say they need to bring back the dark red salsa they used to have. I think it was guajillo based? But apparently only one employee knew how to make it and kept it a secret? Their red (hot) and green (mild) salsas are good, but I'd like to see more / a medium option. Something roasted chipotle maybe? My reason for finally writing a review is I just had their grilled chicken on their super nachos for the first time, and wow, it's good. I normally get a fish burrito (no tartar sauce add sour cream instead) or something with adobada, or their breakfast burrito for the occasional morning meal, but I'll be getting that grilled chicken more often. Their marinated carrots are also ? and you really can't go wrong here.
