I cannot express how wonderful Sara, Misty, and the team at SBC is! They really made my wedding day special. We could not get enough compliments about the dinner. Some people even said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Bias but I feel the same way. From answering all of our questions, to the food tasting, Sara was incredibly helpful. My parents had build an ice cream cart for us to serve to our guests and SBC was able to support the ice cream portion for us, which we are so grateful for! Really could not ask for better food, service, and support for the wedding day. Please do not hesitate to go with SBC for any events, they really bring heart and soul in the work they do!

We are endlessly grateful to SBC for helping make our wedding day the best day of our lives. Even with a large guest count, we received many compliments on the quality of the food, and the entire event was executed flawlessly.

There were a couple of minor issues during the planning process where we were sent incorrect invoices, so I’d simply recommend reviewing all documentation carefully before making payments. Both instances were quickly and easily resolved, and overall, our experience with SBC was wonderful. Thank you to the whole SBC team!

The team of SBC is truly exceptional. I had the honor of planning a very large wedding with SBC as caterers, and they truly made my job easier. When I had to last minute move the entire reception inside due to rain, they were right there and handled everything they could so that I could focus on the couple. Stephanie was an incredible asset to the day - she solved problems and came to me with ideas that made the experience exceptional for the guests from start to finish. Misty, the event captain, anticipated my needs before I could even put words to them. She was so kind, so considerate, and very efficient. Fantastic food and fabulous team.

Great catering company for all types of events

We were enjoying our day at the LPGA golf tournament, we were enjoying beverages and snacks from some ladies at the bar, and we filled their tip jar. Our friends tipped them, we saw other people tipping them, and they actually did a really great job. It was awesome, excellent!Later in the evening, a woman in a Santa Barbara, catering T-shirt came around and emptied their tip jar into her own fanny pack. We went to the bar and asked why they took their cash tips, and the bartenders told us that the tips are collected from everybody and taxed, and paid out on paychecks in two or three weeks.If I wanted to tip them in 2 to 3 weeks, I guess I would’ve went out and found them in 2 to 3 weeks, I wanted to tip them on Thursday while I was enjoying myself at the golf tournament.My next question is how on earth do these bartenders know that they’re getting their tips back correctly? This mom and didn’t count it, she didn’t say anything, she didn’t have them sign anything and we asked how do you know how much money you gave her, and they just kind of shrugged and looked sad, our service industry professionals are already not paid enough money at all to the point of us having to tip them so you’re telling me that your company takes their cash tips?So if you decide to use this catering company and they have servers or bartenders that you’re BEING CHARGED GRATUITY FOR just know that the company is going to collect the gratuity and any cash and MAYBE the service staff will receive it.Shame on you, Santa Barbara.

Just worked a THIRTEEN HOUR bartending shift in GOLD CANYON AZ for Santa Barbara and they took all my cash tips without counting them, without having the sign for how much they took her anything, and they said that they will be on a paycheck in the future. I don’t work for this company I was a Towne, I have no paychecks coming from them my temporary agency pays me.All I can say about this company is if you put them in they charge you a gratuity fee, It’s probably going straight to them….And if you have a bartender or server that you enjoy at your event with them, just know that they’re going to be treated unfairly

The best catering company in the valley by far. Delicious food, superb service, and quality. From private parties, corporate events, to weddings they do it all and a mark above the rest. The service team always provides a seamless event that you never have to worry about and can enjoy your time.

They do everything well. Better than well. The food is fantastic and the service is outstanding.

Kacy the event planner is the most unprofessional and rude person to work with. After many years of five star service this was unacceptable. Richard tried very hard to compensate for her unprofessionalism that left everyone feeling uncomfortable. He is still give stars in my book. Yet this is a score for my cumulative experience. So sad to see this go down hill so fast. Tina please make some changes this is so unlike your company.

When my now-husband and I first dined at one of Santa Barbara Catering's restaurants, we immediately knew we had to have them cater our wedding. The variety of delectable food items made our mouths water and the taste is like nothing we’ve ever had before! Every hors d'oeuvre and entree we sampled had outstanding flavor and was displayed beautifully, even as a buffet. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, and the tortilla and parmesan crusted chicken breast was to die for! Our guests are STILL texting me saying how much they loved the food we had at the wedding!Not only was the food delicious, but Santa Barbara Catering’s service and attention to detail was second to none. Our tables, linens and decor were laid out exactly as I envisioned. The beautiful colored napkins and fruitwood chairs really classed up our event and made the reception all the more gorgeous. Nobody was ever without food or drink in hand thanks to the fabulous wait staff who was working our event. There was even a gentleman who came all the way out to where we were taking photos with our photographers (which was a several minute walk from the reception) just to bring my groom and I water and hors d'oeuvres to make sure we weren’t getting faint or too hungry to continue.We had the most beautiful, delicious dinner we could possibly have hoped for and we cannot recommend Artisan by Santa Barbara Catering Company enough! If you’re having an upcoming event, you’d be making a huge mistake by not hiring this company!

I can't say enough good things about this company, especially Nicole Jorgensen. They did the catering for my wedding last weekend and from the beginning of planning to the day of the event, they were absolutely helpful and professional and went above and beyond to make it spectacular. It started with a phenomenal tasting in which they listened to all of my dietary restrictions (I am gluten free and mostly keto/paleo). They provided an amazing tasting menu and listened to the small changes we requested, and offered up even more options. From there on out Nicole went above and beyond, offering recommendations on anything we could possibly need for wedding planning and offering to connect us with her favorite vendors and suppliers. She did a walk through of the venue with us in the planning stages and offered amazingly helpful recommendations on so many things. The day of the wedding was flawless, she worked quietly and diligently behind the scenes to make sure everything went smoothly. I just can't say enough good things about this company and Nicole!
