Maybe this is nitpicking but Management lost out a 5 Star review because of their idiotic decision to give us only 2 small tortillas for their Trios Fajita Plate. When the Kitchen Server delivered our sizzling fajita plate he said “additional tortillas will be coming out soon.” The meal was delicious and the food serving amount was enough for 6 tortillas and as stated the kitchen server did deliver another foil wrapped package that included two more tortillas which came to 4 tortillas overall. Then we got our bill and saw they charged us an additional 2 Dollars for those two small tortillas on top of their 32 Dollar Menu item. We mentioned it to our Primary Server and all she could do was apologize and say that it a management decision to serve only two tortillas with a meal. Excellent Server, good food, enjoyable atmosphere, but a classic example of a Pennywise, Dollar Stupid decision on the Part of Management that has lost them a repeat customer.

I was looking forward to dining at at Barrio Queen but was then extremely disappointed with the service. Admittedly, the food was excellent, but that was more than offset by the service.We visited on an early Saturday afternoon. We were immediately seated, but the hostess placed us in the bright sun without inquiring whether we wanted an umbrella. In fact, another diner even went to get one on his own for his table.Then the waitperson arrived, and she couldn't even fake affability. After taking the order, she never came back to ask how everything was or if beverage refills were desired. In fact, she only came back to give us the check. Then, of course, she was personable, as a tip had to be added to the bill.What a most disappointing experience. I realize that finding employees can be difficult, but simply filling a position with a body--which appeared to be the case here--is a lose-lose proposition.

This place was not very authentic Mexican food, but the food overall was very good. The service was excellent. Vicente was our server and he did a great job. Overall great experience.

Taste and quality were okay but nothing special. Local taco shops have better tacos. And at half the cost. Service was very slow. I ordered my drink we sat. Reminded the waiter of my drink order when he came back a little while later to take our dinner order. Still didn't get my drink until after our dinner came out. Could've had two drinks by then. When we did get our food, one order was wrong. Instead of remaking the burrito correctly, they just cooked what was missing, brought it out 10 minutes later and left it to us to undo and remake the burrito ourselves. I'm fairly new to the area, work in hospitality, and have been blindly recommending this place to my guests based on what I've heard from others. Now that I've experienced it myself, I cannot recommend Barrio Queen to anyone.
Ordered the chili relleno with carne asada. Came with black beans on the side. Door was good I would consider this a low carb option. Kinda pricey place that’s way the 4

Picking up 6 huge insulated bags worth of food for Amazon and I was immediately greeted with a nasty attitude. They were handing me the food in paper bags. That is fine. However, I was removing hot trays to place in insulated warming bags and was told off for doing so. I was told "next time if you're not going to use our bags let us know so that we don't waste our time placing them in bags". After saying this to me so rudely she walked away. The restaurant hadn't even opened yet so what's with the attitude? I wasn't going to take being disrespected like that. So I called her back over. I told her exactly how I felt about her attitude and lack of professionalism. She just looked at me and said I don't have time for this and dismissed me. There was absolutely no need for her to speak to me the way she did. Amazon paid a pretty penny for all that food and this is how you treat your paying customers? I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase food from this place for any reason for as long as that woman is still employed there.

Attended a corporate happy hour. The drinks were delicious as was the guacamole. Unfortunately, I'm lactose intolerant and all the appetizers had cheese. I'd definitely check this place out again though. The En Fuego margarita was 10/10.
