I’m confused why does it take so long to make the food . Everytime i order there is an extra 20-30 min wait time when I pick up come pick up the food . If im paying this much for your food which is pretty decent. I expect to get my food in a timely manner and if it’s a long waitn time make sure you state that before food is being order or something cause this is ridiculous

5 stars across the board. Check my review history, I don’t sugar coat anything . I believe in telling my honest opinion always. My taste buds were in absolute heaven. I had the fried chicken, seasoned fries, brussel sprouts, mac n cheese and strawberry shortbread. EVERYTHING was fabulous, seasoned to perfection and mouth watering. The chicken was crispy and had me smacking and licking my lips. The brussel sprouts were cooked just right…not mushy or too firm. They were not over seasoned and were fresh. OMG, the mac and cheese. It was buttery with a long cheesy pull. Make you want to slap somebody’s hand if they touch your fork. The seasoned fries good too. You will enjoy them if potatoes are something you really like. I will always rate mac n cheese and my green veggies higher since I love them more. Last but not least, The strawberry shortbread was on point and satisfied my sweet tooth. There was a light fluffy mouse with strawberry and shortbread cookies. The perfect blend of soft and crunchy.Listen, if you are trying to Netflix and chill with some good soul food, check this place out.To set your expectations, I will tell you that there may be a wait to get your order. That’s because they popular but the food is so worth the wait. I just checked out my social media until my food was ready. Patience is key but you won’t be disappointed. A+

Ordered delivery and initially the portion almost seemed worth $32. However, the first big fork full bite turned out to be mostly a hard chunk of dry, white rice. First, nothing in the food description mentions "rice". Initial fail. Second, the rice to pot roast ratio was 3 parts rice, two parts pot roast, potatoes, carrots, and gravy. Check the attached photo. Third, the side order was for string beans, hate broccoli but guess what was in the order. Fourth, the rice was crappy. Dried out, chunks, poorly cared for, rice. Had it been good rice would it have made a difference? In taste perhaps. Poor value, filler, premium price, expensive crummy rice filler, not enough pot roast. Too expensive by 2x. Epic fail.Update: the restaurant has recently posted photos of their menu items and a large rice portion is prominently displayed in the new photo. Good on the restaurant. However, now the portion of beef stew seems way too small in comparison to the carbs. And, there could be hope for better rice too.

Food is great no doubt .But y’all definitely need to get y’all customer service together especially when the food is priced like this. No napkins no forks how u expect to eat the food not everyone is going home to eat right away . And if you run out of food at least tell the customer so it’s not a surprise when they get the food. This is my second time here and I would like to continue to support but I value customer service as well

I've been looking for great soul food since moving to Arizona. And I really thought with the LONG wait for my food I had found it. I was wrong. The food was ok. The seasoning on the chicken taste the same as the seasoning in mac&cheese. Tthe syrup on the yams was way too heavy.The service (people) were pleasant. However, my issue is with the lack of communication.The menu listed one price but when time to pay it was increased.An item I ordered wasn't available but I wasn't told that so I thought I hadn't received it. I was told when I contacted them. And was told I wasn't charged for it and got a free item and a $10 off coupon for the wait.And lastly I asked for a receipt and received a picture of their screen.Ok these may be small things to others but for me I don't like surprises.

Food is great! Customer service was okay. Definitely would order again. Only thing is make sure you order 2 hours in advance, (call to see what is available before placing order) and not on an empty stomach unless you go get appetizers elsewhere while waiting for your food! When ordering food over the phone they didn't tell us how much it cost. So ask for pricing.

Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Totally unprofessional. It took over an hour to get our food, which was room temperature by then. For $116.00 bucks I expected more. We will never return.

We were told it would be a thirty minute wait only to still be waiting an hour later. Food wasn't hot and at $34 for 1/2 pound of fried crab legs ( we ordered 2 plus sides) I expected it to be. The other couple with us after seeing our meal and also waiting over an hour, decided against it and choose to leave. I then received a text from an employee of Big Bacon instructing me to inform the other couple to "Please never come back" I've never seen anything like that before. For $116.00 I definitely expected more. We won't be returning
