We tried three different coffee flavors and they all tasted like ice water. The concept of coffee shop is deficient. The employees don't wear a uniform, it looks more like a bar.

I was served coffee with spoiled/sour milk this morning. When I went back to let them know the non-fat milk was possibly expired and that they should check, I was told that was “good to know!!!” in an off putting, rude tone by Aleah R. No apology, no accountability, no cause for concern, just a horrible attitude. Aleah should be trained on better customer service and food handling.

Absolutely love this place! Most friendly coffee shop in town, and they even love when I bring in my doggo Jax! Coffee here tastes like actual coffee and the environment is friendly and inviting.

Unsure why I give this location the benefit of the doubt. My iced matcha latte is watered down milk. No matcha at all, I regret spending 6 dollars on watered milk. Unsure if they used cheap or fake matcha. Starbucks never did me this dirty.

Stopped by Black Rock Coffee in Mesa and grabbed a small Americano. It was smooth, bold, and had zero bitterness—exactly how I like it.
The barista was friendly and made the drink quickly. The location is clean and has a relaxed vibe, with plenty of seating if you want to hang out for a bit. Drive-thru was fast and the order was spot-on.
Good spot if you’re looking for something stronger than your usual chain coffee. I’ll definitely be back to try a blended drink next time.

Saturday morning October 19th, 2024...around 10am...you guys were slightly busier for a rainy day...this is a coffee place that does (in fairness) cater to the younger crowd of mostly ASU students...but for anyone not of that college age, we don't appreciate the excessively HIGH decibel level of the music that you guys always insist on doing...
I politely asked my barista taking my order why the need for such loud music anytime you come in there.. her excuse "well I guess it's due to high energy".. um WHAT?? NO...there is no need to blast the music so loud that you can't hear anything

I've been to multiple Black Rock locations, and the service has always been great. I've enjoyed every drink I've tried so far. The only thing I wish they'd do, is add cayenne to the Mexican mocha.

I’m visiting the area from California and decided to visit this spot as it was less than a mile from my hotel. Once I received my order through the drive-thru I realized that there was no whipped cream on my drink even after I specifically asked for some and an item was left out of my order, a jalepeno cheese bagel. I parked, went inside then asked the gal at the register for my bagel and she had it at the counter waiting for me, knowing that they left it out of my order. I got back to my hotel room and then realized that the bagel was not a bagel but a stale, breakfast sandwich roll; far from a jalepeno cheese bagel if you ask me! I feel foolish for leaving a tip when I paid for my order. I myself will never visit again if I’m in the area; I’m sure there are other coffee establishments that pay better attention to their customers orders.
