This was a rough decision because they have gluten free injura....but it was Ice cold. Even the one on the plate under the food...which made the food cold. We went in with high hopes.... Wanted to really like it. Another thing...I hardly ever mention restrooms in my reviews...but this is a single person restroom with a door that doesn't lock for the ladies...I mean come on...no stall...I walked up opened the door....and here was another lady just finished and getting ready to wash her hands. She was embarrassed....I was embarrassed... She said the door doesn't lock. I waited outside for her to finish.... Went in and spent some time to get it to lock. I really needed to go...so I went while being nervous someone would walk in on me. Folks...there is something wrong with that... Please fix the lock so that the average customer can figure out how to lock the door. Thanks!!Dietary restrictions: Not a gluten free kitchen but has gf injura.

Rude behavior and poor customer service. The woman Couldn't answer my questions without an attitude. Good attitude and customer service is what keep you in business in the hospitality field It can even make the food taste better. Nasty attitude nasty food. Even another costumer noticed she was being rude, that when I was outside she brought it to my attention telling that the server/cashier was being rude. If you don't know how to do proper costumer services stay away from business that requires it.I was supposed to buy few dishes to take home, but since the service was horrible and the attendant was rude I decided to buy only one, and buy food for the family from somewhere else. Only because I knew the cashier wasn't willing to answer questions about the dishes to fit my family requests.

I absolutely loved eating here! I had the awaze tibs entre with the side of salad that comes with it. The awaze tibs tasted buttery, savory, and full of rich detail with a combination of noteworthy spice and sweetness that comes from beef tips being cooked in awaze hot sauce. The service was great while the dining atmosphere was also extremely authentic with great Ethiopian posters of artistry and other wall decor. I am so glad I came here to eat!

Ethiopian food is different and delicious. Great food, nice people, reasonable price and good desserts. Ask for gluten free injera which tastes better, and they offer a gluten free dessert. Check out the soup as well.Ethiopian food is usually served on a platter and people serve themselves. If using the injera bread, you tear off a small piece, use it to grab some food and eat the bread and food together. Sanitary and filling. They offer forks and separate plates if you are hesitant to eat like an Ethiopian.Dietary restrictions: They take care of you when you are gluten free, the injera can be ordered without added wheat flour, just Teff flour which is gluten free. Pure Teff flour bread tastes better with Ethiopian food. Teff grows in Ethiopia

The atmosphere was great and the waitress was attentive, I do feel like because I came in by me self I was treated as a little bit of an after thought. The food came out quickly but it wasn't very hot, it seems like the food had been pre made, just sitting on a warmer for hours. That's also why I think the meat (lamb) wasn't as tender as it should have been. They did have a good peach wine though. Very interesting cuisine to try

All around fantastic experience. Highlight for me was the misr wat, fosolia and to drink was the black chai. Will definitely return in the near future!
