First off im visiting from out of town on a business trip and wanted to feel at home by ordering carribean food. So I decided to give Carribean palm a chance, i have arrived in a uber at the TEMPE location very upset due to the fact the restaurant hasn't reported their restaurant as PERMANENTLY CLOSE!! So i have already started off on a bad start a waste of $20 uber fair. Secondly I decided well hey let me still give them a try and go to the other location listed on their window. I have arrived with my coworker let the host there know what happened btw she was very kind and sweet. The owner and manager i assume was very rude. We order 2 curry shrimp meals it was ok wasn't the best or worst. I also order a rum punch that i have never received! I also tried to use the yelp 10% off deal but the lady said i cant use it because it says tempe the old location smh. The service was slow and not one apology or discount was offered after all the trouble i went through just to try their food. I will never come back here again!

New Year Eve I called with restaurant looking for food before everyone started closing. When I arrived they were preparing the food and I was excited it wasn't sitting somewhere n a pot waiting for someone to order. It felt like I was picking up a plate from a friends house. Very welcoming, family feel environment. I didn't get pictures, but they made a kids plate for my son with chicken curry, I had the oxtails and order some meat patties(chicken). Delicious everything!!!

I would say this place is more restaurant than bakery at the time of writing this review. Apparently, the menu was still in the works so some items weren't available. Going in, it was just me and my girlfriend in the entire restaurant. We were the first to order but it took about 30 minutes to receive our food. Price felt somewhat steep for stewed food. We got the oxtail and j*** chicken. The oxtail was rich, slightly sweet, and spicy. Some of the pieces fell of the bone while others were on the rubbery side. The j*** chicken was delicious. It was spicy and full of spice. Chicken was nice and tender. Rice and peas were served on the side. The flavor of cloves perfumed the rice and it was seasoned nicely. A blanched cabbage mix was also served. It added some green to the dish and was much needed at times. The crowd began to pick up when we were halfway finished with our meal. People who knew each other started to come in and chat with the owner. They started playing music and everyone seemed to be having a good time. If you're looking a place that's a bit more intimate than your regular sit down, eat, and leave restaurant, this might be the place. The staff is enthusiastic and the food is pretty good.

Good portions for what you pay for. Maybe a lil salt needed. But overall I was pleased. I got the oxtails with steamed veggies.

Absolutely great restaurant with great food and amazing hospitality. Definitely check them out if you're in the area. It's a unique restaurant serving a great kind of food!

Let me just say this first, food tasted good and they had a good selection of import soda. That's about it Felt terribly sick just shortly after eating my food. Lots of red flags about the restaurant but the need for goat is real. Played the same 3 songs on repeat, food was not particularly fresh (was served cafeteria style and not made to order), the meat to rice ratio was VERY heavy on the rice, no one else was in the restaurant, the area just outside was heavily littered with trash and bottles, and the menu selection was sparse at best. Cannot over-stress this is a place to avoid unless you're heavily intoxicated and can convince yourself your nausea is related to something other than the food.

I wanted to say THANK YOU from my heart for the service I received from your cafe. I visted your restaurant (which was closed at the time) there was a lady inside who did NOT have to respond (I remember her face but her name no) Most people would of just yelled "Sorry we are closed!" but she didn't-she came to the door-welcomed me in and helped me find the food I was looking for. I had gone to three different cafes looking for pies but no one had any and they were not helpful at all.:-( she even offered to have their other restaurant (Scottsdale location) bring me pies. I ended up going to their restaurant in Scottsdale to get all the food I needed. I was impressed by both places. THANK YOU so much! I tell everyone I know about the hospitality that was showed to me!

The place was closed, no sign as to why. It looked like they were closing for good.
