To those thinking of dining here, I warn you right now, DON'T. Unlike other restaurants, this establishment prioritize orders not by when they were taken, but by the quantity of the bill it will generate.

Bit of a weird place as the entrance is through the Delhi restaurant next door and you can order from either restaurant menu. Food was very tasty. Portion size for the chili paneer was insanely large. Combination lunch also had a lot of food. Buffet looked good with lots of veg and non-veg dishes, but I did not try it. Staff came by to refill water glasses often and prices are very reasonable.

The entrance is from a different restaurant. The place is claiming to be South Indian but it is run by North Indians, hence looking the part but does not taste like one. I ordered the Sambar Vada, Mushroom Manchuria, aloo tikki Char and Andhra Masala Dosa. Everything except the Vada was bad

The food tasted okay, but most of the tables (if not all) were dirty (despite all of the tables having fresh silverware and napkins). Also the cups are styrofoam and the chutneys come in plastic containers when dining in. The staff are sweet though.

I called in the chef because Rava dosa was way too dry and not buttery at all. I stepped away to the post office to return something. He told me "you are late in picking up the food so that is why it is so brittle." Way to BLAME the customer for your mistakes. After that I told the lady that I wanted a box for the to go food. VERY RUDE woman - with the lipstick- refused to give me a bigger box and swore at me while walking out. Save your money and time

Worst Service and worst ambiance and 0% hygiene. The name shows it as a South Indian Restaurant but for god sake no food here is South Indian and god knows why the name “Chennai Express”... Even the plates are not clean..And I’m never going to come back. It doesn’t deserve even one star...

Naaah! We ordered Dosa and Samosa Chaat. Samosa Chaat was fine but dosa, sambhar and chutneys were tasteless! Never visiting again

Everything is spicy. I got stomach issues for the rest of the day. No. Go to the place right next door. The Vietnamese place. That place is good.
Several things went wrong but most of all the service was horrible. I placed an order through DoorDash, I ordered 3 combos. When my order arrived I was missing one drink and two of the combos were missing rice. I called and was told the driver walked out with 3 drinks and they only gave me beans because they ran out of rice. The beans were old and the burritos had no flavor, nothing about the food or service was good. I do not recommend this place.

$13+ is what I paid for a small container of chicken curry. It was good, but there was mostly the sauce and a few bits of chicken. It came with NO RICE or anything, just the container of a few pieces of chicken. When I called they said that "mobile orders only get chicken" but should I have called it would have came with "something else" which was advertised NO WHERE on Postmates. Waste of money!!
